Cons: My only negative comment is that the bathroom lighting could be brighter.
Just what I expect from a Comfort Inn. Not a five star property, but decent in all respects and an excellent value.

Very good motel.Posted Nov 1, 2013
Hotel staff most accommodating. Above average room. Problem was with Expedia, not the motel.

Those rock hard matresses have got to go!Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Everything but the bed.
Cons: The matresses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location: Mississipi river, State of Iowa Penitentiary, Tri State Rodeo, Old Fort, Snake alley
It is a beautiful facitlity, the rooms are clean and inviting, the lobby is gorgeous, breakfast area is large & clean, the staff is super nice. The only downfall is the rock hard matresses - I barely slept and woke up with a horrendous back ache. Sell your slabs of concrete to Super 8 and buy the matresses the Fairfield Inns use - contrary to Hampton Inn's claim - the beds at Fairfield's are what dreams are made of!

Enjoyed our stay.Posted Oct 24, 2013
We were in town to see family with our 3 year old granddaughter. The hotel was nice with great pool(s) for all--toddler and older children. Only down mark on the facilities--the pools were warmer than the hot tub.

Good stopover for a nightPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Conveniently located to our route of travel and reasonably priced
Cons: The facility needed some upkeep such as fixing the rear door security latch and water raining down onto that entryway from an AC above the door.
Location: Fort Madison is quite historic and seems to be a very nice town. See the Chamber of Commerce. Web site for ideas.
We booked this hotel in the middle of a long road trip. It turned out to be a good choice and the town was interesting too.

Old hotel in desperate need of an update!Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: The pool!
Cons: Cigarette smell
Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
When first arrived I asked for a map of the area...was told they didn't have any. Then when were leaving I found some with all the flyers on the way out! Another incident I went to the front desk to ask for towels as there were none in the pool room, the desk clerk was in the back texting. I dislike employees on their cell phones while working! Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke! Not sure if the hotel has smoking in it at all but they need to invest in new hallway carpet as it smells. On a positive note...we were pleasantly surprised with the pool facilities!

A little out of date but nicePosted Jul 29, 2013
Location: I was under the impression that this facility was close to Cooperstown Dreams Park. It is actually about 25 minutes away.
The room and fixtures/television were a bit out of date but it was nice. The breakfast was great. The back yard is very nice with a small stream, grass, benches, and a gazebo.

Clean and comfortable. Good choices for breakfast.Posted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: Clean, comfortable and everything worked. We've had less pleasant experiences at other locations (not yours).
Cons: Perhaps fixing a glitch or two in either a computer or manual room assignment system.
Due to a glitch in some system, we were given a room that was already occupied. Not sure who was more embarrassed, the other guests, front desk staff or us. Otherwise, it was very enjoyable and pleasant.

Great Stay!Posted Jul 4, 2013
Everything was clean and fresh when we arrived. The staff was friendly. My kids (14 years) were a little disappointed about the pool being closed and not being allowed to use the exercise room without an adult. We were also pleased that the breakfast buffet included protein and fruit, rather than just cereal and waffles. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Best hotel in areaPosted Mar 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great stay, I was only upset that my desk chair was busted in room 122. Good restaurant next door and great access to highway.
