“Smokey”

We requested a non-smoking room and it said it was a non-smoking room on the door but every time we went inside it smelled like stale smoke. They should have been able to spray febreeze or something to make it smell better. Also it was a loft room which means it was two levels, it was kind of cool except walking up and down every time you needed the bathroom got old. It was good if there was more than two of you. Rooms were clean but pretty beat up. We had a little kitchen and the microwave was 23 years old! Free breakfast was a bonus.

“It was clean the staff were very nice.”

The staff were great. We went to the breadfast room late and the staff let us have breakfast anyway they were really nice. The hotel was clean and I would go there again. No problem.

We went for shopping so we went to Burlington and all surrounding areas.

We went shopping to all the stores. I love the Chistmas tree shop and of course we always visit J.C. Penny and Kohl's

Never miss an opportunity to go to Applebee's. If you get the chance go to Ponderosa also.

“Friendly and Clean”

Upon check in I was informed that my room was upgraded to a jacuzzie room. Nice! I found the room very clean and well maintained. I like a lot of light and there were plenty of lamps in all the right places. Free wifi was good and the hotel was very close to the highway, so getting into town was quick and easy. I would be happy to stay there again. The pool was a nice suprise!

“Old, needs update badly”

The room is inconvient with stairs unavoidable. Lights, lamps, not working. HVAC inconvient as it is only controlled from level 1

“Nothing fancy, but adequate.”

An older building without recent updates. -However, staff was friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and breakfast was adequate. The price was right for my budget!

“Very pleasantly suprised.”

I was very impressed for the hotel. I was not expecting much because of the amazing prices. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I really loved my stay there.

“Will visit again”

Hotel staff were very friendly and helful. Not the four seasons, but for the price it was just fine. The breakfast seletion was disappointing, but not a deal breaker. Beds are confortable, room was clean. A bit outdated, but in comparison to others, good enough. All in all a pleasant stay. Was only there one night and was gone on business most of the time. Good value.

Area recommendations

Downtown Burlington is just down the road about 4 miles or so. Church st is great for shopping along with the city mall. Convienent parking access to the mall.
