“Clean, high value, safe place to stay”

Lot's of room and clean rooms. The price was right and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

“Good hotel close to Burlington airport”

We needed a well priced hotel close to the airport in Burlington VT. This was an excellent selection.

“Great value for the price!”

This was a great value for the price. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Furnishings were in good condition. It was nice and quiet. There was a slight hint of a smoke smell, even though we were in a non-smoking room. But, it was mild and didn't bother me.

“Close to the airport”

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the airport. The staff person was kind and helpful, recommending two excellent restaurants. Check-in was easy. This was probably the ugliest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It had absolutely no charm whatsoever. That being said, we were only there for a few hours so didn't need charm. The bed was adequate, the room clean and contained a ktchenette.

and it had a kitchen. Nothing fancy but good value in a good commercial area adjacent to the the St. Michael's College Campus.

“Great place to stay when visiting friends and relatives in Burlington”

Handys extended hotel stay is a good place to stay because it is close to everything. The morning breakfast is at a hotel next door so you have to walk about 100 yards or drive over to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and the right size for longer stays. There is a small kitchen that would need more equipment if you wanted to cook.

“Not Impressed”

The room at check in was not a suite as expected and in bad repair (missing drawer in dresser, electrical cover missing on an exposed outlet). We were able to move to a suite, which is what was reserved, the next day. Another traveler was given the key to our room and came in while we were there. The locks are old style keys. The manager also came in to our room the same day, without knocking, to get a cooking pan that had been borrowed by a previous traveler. Another day during our week there, housekeeping forgot to come by. The next day when they did stop by, only the towels were changed - no other cleaning was done. While it is nearly the cheapest place to stay in the area, I was hoping for more than toilet paper that a newspaper can be read through, neglectful housekeeping, and the lack of privacy that we experienced.
