My personal hell loop
This hotel is a fever dream. I wake up in cold sweats just thinking of the horrors that awaited me in that room. The bathroom door looked like it had been gnawed away at the bottom. The vent in the bathroom was coming off the wall and the whole place smelled like cheap cleaner. I don’t know if this was a swinger’s paradise at one time or a bastardized version of a resort, but this is one of the worst places I’ve stayed in my entire life the only redeeming part was Kara, Kara was a shining light in the darkness of the abyss. She was the sweetest and friendliest of all the staff. Kara deserves a promotion or at the very least a raise

Rough Place
Toilet rocked and leaked from the wax ring, temp of room was stuck at 85 but temp of room was 62. No ice maker on site. Hotel was worn out. Pretty rough place

The king size bed was super comfy! They’re in the middle of updating, bet it’ll look great when done. The atrium (pool area) was nice. Love that they have 0 depth for kids. The pool toys are a plus. Love the Louisiana style theme in the hotel. More options and an updated breakfast area would be nice.

Thanks for the kind words. Believe it or not, we provide a bunch more breakfast than Wyndham requires. We are adding a protein option and, soon, fruit and yogurt.We hope you'll will stay with us again as we make this place awesome.

Tried 3 rooms, all filthy!! And not one had hot running water. They've been working on it literally for months (2 try staying here). WILL NOT BE BACK! HIGHLY DISSATISFIED THAT I COULDN'T TAKE A SHOWER THERE!!!!

I am sorry that the hot water went out. while you were here. We discovered, post your stay, that not one, but two of our instant hot water heaters AND the hot water holding tank pump and motor died. The housekeeping we addressed and will continue to address. Taking a hotel from the major state of neglect we got it in in April to where it is now, has been work. We will continue to invest until the property gets back to its glory and prominence it once had. Give us a bit and come try us again.

Was dirty had to go threw 3 rooms to find one half way decent then the floors were dirty trash under thw beds bathroom door was broke at the bottom 3/4 of the toilet paper.was gone just all around nasty for 100 bucks a night

The interior pool area was beautiful and will be amazing when renovations are finished. Room was clean, despite system being down staff were easily able to accommodate and check-in quickly. Breakfast was basic and could be improved with addition of a protein/dairy/fruit. Bed was super comfy. Internet could be improved by making it a secure network. Overall, I think families would enjoy- nice place for the price.

I am surprised there was nothing in the breakfast area. The storm filled more rooms than we had anticipated and, as far as I know, the only thing we were out of was breakfast sandwiches. The desk always has extra TP and tissue.

First, at check in, they did not have my reservation. Second, they put us in a room that has no hot water and the door did not lock. I went down to the front desk and was told you have to let the water run for 10 to 15 minutes to get hot water. I went back up to the room and did exactly that and still didn't have hot water. I went back down to the front desk and demanded a new room. I paid roughly 110 a night for these conditions, might i add. So after walking through and checking 10 other rooms, i finally found one that even locked out had hot water! The pool was past gross. The water was brown and had almost a film on it. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. There was people doing drugs outside the entrance. I will never recommend this place! Ever! The front desk clerk at night was very nice and was pleasant to deal with, given my demeanor cause of how unsatisfying I was.

We got a brand new front end system that took a bit to work out the kinks. Had you pointed out to my clerk that there were drugs of any kind on the property, we would have called the cops. The walls are all concrete and the atrium can be noisy until 10 pm -8 am which is quiet time here. We just bought the property a couple of months ago and are making improvements as fast as we can. I hope you’ll come back in a few months and see the changes we have made

HORRIBLE! Save your time and frustration!
The room and furniture was horrible, the carpet looked cleaner than the chair. The only reason we stayed was the bed was new. We had to run the water for 45 minutes before it was warm enough to take a shower. I booked and paid on the app, when I checked in, the hotel also charged me. I was told, by Tammy on June 28th, that it would be refunded and as of today has not been. So, this room actually cost me almost $200/ night and wasn't worth $25/ night

Lindy, had I known about this, it would be already done. We just got a brand new front-end system and getting tuned in has been difficult. We are in the process of upgrading the whole hotel and the beds were first and the rest is a process. As I said, I'll get on this first thing in the morning and you are welcome to call and speak with the owner.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We actually spoke to the owner our first night there. And he explained to us some of his plans. And on our last night there, he actually took us to show us some of the updates he has already done and his future plans. My family and I are very excited to return and see the rest of the updates soon!!

This has such a French Quarter vibe!! It’s being renovated and the new owners are amazing! I can’t wait to see the finished product!! Super comfortable new mattresses and I loved the pool and hot tub!

If you like taking cold showers, this is the property for you. Called the front desk, they did absolutely nothing about it and did nothing to try to solve it or fix it. Breakfast was very disappointing, room, temperature, coffee.

The property is being renovated and they have already made it amazing with mattresses and linens that are extremely comfortable. The indoor pool was great and full of families having fun. The breakfast was good, I liked the waffles especially. The property is going to be amazing when it’s totally finished. Great place for a great rest and a good nights sleep

Hotel is dilapidated and run down. No other cars in the lot. Asked around and other people strongly suggested not to stay there. Didnt feel safe staying with a child.

Not sure when you stayed with us, I could not find you in any recent stay. However, we bought the property in April and, at that point in time, we felt the same. The rooms have been renovated with new mattresses showerheads etc. We just had one of many pool parties with at least 10 children in the pool, so all that has changed for the better. Come try us again!
