Wonderful Hotel!Posted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in a wonderfully quiet spot. I booked a king size room and got an entire suite. The room itself was spotless and everything in the kitchen was perfectly put in the cupboards. I went to the grocery store nearby to get a few supplies. The hotel actually puts on a small dinner spread and encourages guests to socialize with one another. The breakfast was very good - hot food along with the usual continental offerings. The bed was very comfortable, the staff extremely accommodating and I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy. It's off the highway enough that there is no traffic noise at all so you should get a great rest!

Cons: Breakfast till 11 AM on weekends would be nice. A full service bar would be great as there's no bars within walking distance.
Location: I don't think there's anything within walking distance to this hotel.

Convenient and ComfortablePosted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel is geared to short stay or businness stay rather than being a resort hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient. Buffet breakfast was included and was quite good, a small complaint being the plastic cutlery. The hotel is a little on the remote side but Burlington with its numerous restraunts and attractions is only a 10-15 minute drive. Burlington is also the starting point for cruises and ferry crossings on Lake Champlain.

Closest to family we visitPosted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Have stayed at this property several times. Service is always good, room is clean. Generally have a pleasant stay. Now that we no longer have family in the area, not likely we will stay there again, but would recommend it for anyone needing to visit Colchester or Winooski.

wonderful suite, big service mistakePosted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
We wanted to visit Burlington/Lake Champlain, so Colchester is a wonderful location, although the area between is not so very nice. We got a 2-room-suite on the 1st floor - awesome! Everything was clean, pretty new, full kitchen, nice sofa and dinnertable-perfect. Although the basketball-area was directly in front of our window, there was never any problem after 6pm. BUT: Once we came back into our room, the door had been left open ( I mean open, not just unlocked !!). We were shocked , thibnking of intruders, but all the front desk staff would tell, was an excuse, the housekeping must have forgotten ... They also forgot to take our towels on the floor. Breakfast area / lobby was very nice and clean, breakfast sufficient.
