Excellent place to stay. clean , simple, good bed.

“Excellent service!”

We booked this hotel for 2 double beds, hoping that we would be able to get 2 queens for our 3 children and my husband and I. We had put that request in with Expedia, and I talked to the night desk clerk (not sure what her 'proper' title would be), and told her of our request. She didn't have any rooms with 2 queens available, but she said she could put us in a king suite with a sleeper sofa. I jumped at the offer, and she said she could bring down a rollaway bed. We now had a bed for each of our children - 13, 8, and 6 - who are too big to share beds anymore. She also brought us extra blankets and pillows! We were ever so grateful, and it made our kids sooo happy! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. The desk clerk was cheerful and helpful without any resentment or frustration, even though it was about 9:00 pm. Wish I'd gotten her name... Thanks for a great night!

“Required rest instead of long drive on Monday”

I needed to be close to Kahoka, Mo. and weather wasn't so good , so it was a no brainer for me to get to motel Sunday night sice I had 9 a.m. appointment Monday morning.

“Great Stay!”

I was surprised staying at this Super 8 hotel. I really enjoyed their king suite room. I would recommend this hotel to those going to Keokuk.

“Nice accomodations”

Wonderful hotel accomodations, just needed a bit more "substance" to the free breakfast (toast, donuts and cereal).

“Looks elsewhere unless you have a pet!”

The only reason we stayed here was they allowed pets. Someone was cooking food in their room and the odor was terrible and smelled like smoke. When we called the front desk to complain they blew us off and said there was nothing they could do.

“Basic Accomodation.”

Simple continental breakfast, very basic accomodations.

“Would never stay here again!”

This hotel smelled strongly of smoke from the first step in the door! Our room was on the second floor and smelled strong enough of smoke that we went to Walmart for an odor-neutralizing spray and candle that we burned every morning and evening. Our folks stayed on the first floor, and we learned on the day of discharge, that their room was a SMOKIING room, even though our online reservation specifically said Non-Smoking. Their room was so horrible that they slept with the window open and vent fan on each night. Had we not already paid for these rooms far in advance, we would have left, and if I had it to do over, I would have asked for my parents to be moved. I had no idea that they actually had a SMOKING room. It was nasty. The bathroom was clean, people were pleasant, but the horrible odor quickly dims that memory!
