It was a fine place to stay. I have a broken leg so I didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities

Good for quick overnight stay

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Central location, nice breakfast, friendly staff, easy to find/central location.
Cons: Needs updating, the smell in our room was unpleasant.
Location: Burns is a very small town. Not a lot to do in town, but right next door to the hotel was a pizza restaurant that was very good.
The hotel is centrally located, and is fairly well maintained. It is old, but for what is there they do a good job keeping it clean and presentable. The only real gripe I had was the smell in our room. While the room was clean and comfortable, there was an unpleasant odor. I think it was simply because of the age of the room--possibly the plumbing--but that was something that was difficult to ignore. There was a nice breakfast with plenty of offerings. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. If we ever pass through Burns, I'd stay again. For the price we paid, I wasn't expecting the Hilton--just needed a place to rest our heads for the night.

Affordable

Posted Feb 7, 2015
Pros: The price
Cons: Invest in updating the accommodations.
Location: Fabulous bird watching area. Especially during spring & fall migrations. Beautiful high desert places to go. Great rock & animal hunting.
While Dave , the conciegerge, was very pleasant & attentive, we were disappointed with our stay. The hotel is in need of some TLC & the do allow pets which is great, but it's why our room smelled of dog. The worst was the semi truck parked directly behind our room. His generator would go off every hour for about 20 minutes, so our first night was offered little sleep. While the price is quite affordable, it comes with its downfalls. I think if quality is what your looking for, another hotel might be a better choice.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. My apologies that your stay was less then satisfactory. We recently added new mattresses and have a remodel planned for the summer of 2015. We do have pet friendly rooms, however there are specific rooms and we do not put guest without pets in them. This helps to avoid aggravating peoples allergies, etc. Our pet friendly rooms are maintained to accommodate pets. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will stay with us again.

Awful

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Old and dirty, creepy. What else is there to say. Located right behind a creepy bar. Not even the sign was illuminated.

Thank you for your feedback. The property is undergoing a remodel for the summer of 2015. It will include new furniture, new carpet and bedding. We recently added brand new mattresses and flat screen tvs. I have checked to ensure that all of our signs are working. I would like to clarify we are located on the same property as the local steakhouse, which has won numerous awards from travel partners. It is a local favorite and many guest who come to town enjoy the cuisine there. My apologies that your stay did not meet your expectations, and we hope you would consider staying with us again.

Best beds ever

Posted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: Beds are super comfy
Cons: Lights around back where the pets must go potty
I travel a few times a month for work, and this hotel has the most comfortable beds I've slept in
