“You get what you pay for”

I was looking for a place to sleep,and cheap. That is what I got. Hotel needs updates. I read the reveiws before I booked so I knew what I was getting into. Burn holes in blankets, towels and wash cloths were clean but NOT WHITE. The TV didn't come in that well. The cops paid a visit 2 times to other guests and there was an arrest made. The breakfast area was not clean or kept up with the guests that used it through out that morning. Staff was very nice. If your looking for a CHEAP HOTEL this is it.

“very old, needs major overhaul”

great price, but very old hotel that needs major updates inside and out. parking was a big hassle. thought my wife was going to punch me in the nose!

“OK for the price”

OK for the price anywhere near the Mall of America. The desk clerk was friendly, the room was comfortable - bed & pillow was nice - slept well. TV and internet worked fine. Wasn't noisy outside. Breakfast was donuts, cereal and waffle - crowded but good (took food back to room). Would stay here again.

“Good location”

The hotel itself was rather run down and definitely could have been cleaner. The staff were courteous. The location was excellent. Minutes away from most major attractions. It was a cheap room so I guess you could say that you get what you pay for. If cost is the issue, it will do the job, and you get a free continental breakfast. If you are looking for high quality and extra clean, I would think twice.

“Worst hotel I have stayed in”

When I walked into the lobby it looked like there was a bullet hole in the front glass. Once we received our room number and went to put the key in the door someone was in there. The room was already given to someone else. When we received a new room and walked the room stunk, can't even explain the smell. We had to buy a bottle of febreeze that seemed to help. The mattress was very uncomfortable.

“Not Impressed”

the hotel was not at all modernized. The linens were grayish white - they need new ones. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

“Two star room as expected. Very Helpful staff.”

The room met expectations for a 2 star hotel. It was clean and well maintained. No frills which is to be expected. The hotel staff was helpful. I needed to print out a business document early in the morning. The front desk was able to accomodate my request and was very friendly about it. I would recommend this hotel for a budget traveler. Good value.

“Well, it was a place to lay our heads, anyway.”

To be fair, improvements have been made. They now have a waffle maker that my son LOVED. The bathroom was not clean and the room had a stale, almost smokey smell. Not the worst we've been, but not the best. For the money, not terrible.

“Very nice stay”

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. It was quiet and very comfortable. I have no complaints at all. It was very nice for the price and would stay again anytime.
