We stayed here while visiting family. The hotel was clean, the people were friendly, and the room had what we needed. If you want ice, you'll want to fill the trays in the freezer when you get there. It has easy access to the freeways.

WretchedPosted Oct 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Based on positive reviews, gave it a try. First, housekeeping was the worst I have encountered at a hotel. Hair on sink in bathroom and kitchen, smears of scouring powder on faucets, soap scum around tub, etc.etc., Although recently "renovated" this is not saying much because almost everything is cheap and substandard, just with a coat of paint and some new flooring. Lipstick on a pig. Right away wanted to check out , but because I purchased thru Hotels.com was told I could not get a refund thru the hotel. All in all a wretched experience. So relieved it is over!!!

Way Nicer than you would think for the PricePosted Sep 29, 2013
Pros: Comfort - great bed. Cleanliness. Quiet. Friendly Staff. Convenient Highway access. No Toll Roads to downtown Chicago. Free guest parking.
Cons: Shampoo and dish detergent in room. (They are free at desk if you ask.)
Location: 20 minutes (non rush hour) drive to downtown and the Lake and museums. Nice shopping mall just a couple of minutes away.
We were in Chicago for a getaway weekend/meeting and had booked a super saver rate so we did not know what we would be getting, just the general location, south of town near I-55. We got Extended Stay America at about 40% off their normal rate. Even at their normal rate they are a bargain. First, the only negative, and it is not the hotel's fault. Both GPS and Google maps send you to the wrong location. The hotel is on S. Frontage, which is a discontinuous street. If you use these services you will take the wrong exit and end up 3 blocks away from the hotel and not know where to go from there. Luckily, a call to the hotel got us the Assistant Manager and she quickly redirected us to their location. Everyone at the desk was helpful and friendly. They have an elevator, which is nice. Our room was nicer than some we have spent 4Xs as much for. The queen bed was the most comfortable that both my wife and myself have had in any hotel. The shower had great water pressure and quick response for hot water. The bathroom and kitchenette were spotless. The flat screen was new, and there is free internet and cable. All the furniture was fairly new and well kept. Very Clean. The kitchenette had a service for 2. The "grab and go" breakfast is not much, but you have a kitchenette with frig, coffee maker, toaster, range and microwave. The room was quiet, you could not hear any hall or neighbor noise. A wonderful, restful stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Bare necessities-hotel friendly staffPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Close to a job location I needed to be near the next day.
Cons: Make sure all rooms telephones work properly and are operational. The one I had I could not make accept or make calls.
Location: N/A Off the toll so I imagine easy to get to and from as long as you know where you are headed.
Only needed to stay for one evening. Hotel was a bit difficult to find off a frontage road as GPS did not recognize the odd address. With help from the locals I was able to find the hotel. Hotel average.

Hard to find the location in gpsPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: Kitchen in rooms , good air conditioning, clean bathrooms, clean invironments. And big parking area. You can extend your stay, up to one month .
Cons: As i said , breakfast , break fast room, toilet hose for self cleaning .flexible shower hose insted of installed one.
Location: A little mall , close to hotel, not a shopping center with major And famous name.such meijer or sears. You have to go at least 10miles to find brand
Really it is hard to find the location of the hotel for the first time in gps. I went to another location of the same name hotel and they guide me to this hotel. But afterwards, i input the cross street in gps and i save it ( highway 55 and countryroad)in burr ridge city of il . Breakfast is grab and go, it means that you have to grab any thing from a little table ( fruit, coffe and muffine ) , no bread and cheese or butter , no egg no..... If you need really a good break fast add to your stay don't choose this kind of hotel. It is good for long stay , coin lundrrery and dryer , best little kitchen in each room . Tv is anolog not degital chanel on it. And few station of american chanels.parking is free and a big lot around the hotel . In this time of year( end of agust ) is cold enough all the area of hotel and rooms. Totaly i have a good memory of this hotel and their stuff . Very kind and helpfull , even in the late night. Shampoo and soap must request from front desk. I suggest the manager to add the shower hose in their bath, to clean the part of body that cannot reach throuth the one place installed shower.,if i w ere the manager i add the hose for toilet to better cleanning personally.and reduce the consumption of toilet paper and to prevent the stick the papers inside of sewage pipes.

Burr Ridge - Extended StayPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Burr Ridge is a very different Area - Nice area to be in but very expensive for everything but this lodging location. Burr Ridge keeps it that way. Assistance at the Hotel was excellent - Even the new trainee was knowledgeable and polite. Guest for the most part were friendly but normal.23 minutes to Downtown just off I-55. Great place to stay

Perfect locationPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was my first time at an Extended Stay. Loved the layout of room, kitchen, bed etc. Grocery, restaurants, other shopping across the road. Just off I55 so easy to find. Only a muffin and coffee in lobby for breakfast but okay as I travel with oatmeal and tea bags as my preference. No hair dryer in room, but available at desk. Everything else perfect.
