“ONE of Chicagos' BEST”

We were in town recently for a nieces' wedding. The hotel was very clean and our room very attractive as well as comfortable.

Area recommendations

The shopping area close by was extremely nice as well as several local restaurants.

Dining

The Moondance diner is a great place for lunch, Sandwiches were not only healthy, but delicious.

“Very impressive!”

This hotel is very impressive! The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are very nice. Check-in took just a few minutes. Our room was just off the lobby so I was a little worried about noise, but we never heard any noise from the hallway or adjoining rooms. The restaurant/bar was far enough away that it wasn't a problem either. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Pillows and linens were top quality. We had a nice view of the pond and surrounding area. I would defintely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area or in Chicago that doesn't want to stay downtown. Very convenient location.

“Adequate”

I like the convenience of this hotel for my work related trip. However, for the price per stay, per night, the value is low when compared with other hotels in the Chicago suburbs. The rooms are comfortable and maintained well however the restaurant food quality is substandard and prices are high (typical with most hotels). They have an outdoor mall located right across the street with shops, two restaurants and a Starbucks. However, the stores have limited hours (post holiday in winter) and the restaurants are high end. As a business traveler you look for quicker, more casual dining and there are not a lot of options.

Area recommendations

Oakbrook or Lombard are better locations - there are more restaurant choices and the cost per night for some of the higher end hotels are less or comparable to this hotel located in Burr Ridge.
