To really get a feel for the area, visit some of the local sights such as the Beltany Stone Circle in Letterkenny, Fanad Head in Portsalon and Fort Dunree in Moville. These are much-loved by travellers from all the corners of the globe. Blow the dust from the pages of Donegal’s past by seeing some heritage sites, such as Raphoe Castle in Letterkenny.
Set aside a couple of hours and head to the Letterkenny Golf Club in Letterkenny, the Portsalon Golf Club in Portsalon and the Ballyliffin Golf Course. Grab your clubs and hit the greens.
