The best hotel i have ever stayed in

Posted Jun 4, 2009 on Hotels.com
This hotel is wonderful, we had a 2 bed house, it was so clean and tidy you could stay here forever, i will be returning with my children as we had such a nice time. I have stayed in 5* hotels before and this was far better! The staff were also very freindly and helpful which you often don't find!

Perfect retreat!

Posted May 11, 2009 on Hotels.com
From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and efficient. They pointed out places of interest to visit nearby and gave us a good overview of the hotel and the facilities. The apartment was superb. Clean, tidy, well maintained and very comfortable. Everything you need is at hand and i would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing get away. Perfect!

Fab hotel unfortunately only stayed one night and arrived late from Alton Towers couldn't fault the rooms it usually hard to find accommodation for a family of 5 we had plenty of room. lovely grounds pool looked great although didn,t have time to use it, I would say that we did get lost using a sat nav took a lot of time to find, sat nav didn't recognise the lanes the hotel was in, when found it was worth the wait.

Hidden gem

Excellent location, very peaceful & relaxing. Log cabins are fantastic with all ameneties you would need. Plenty of leisure facilities onsite - tennis courts, swimming pool, gym, etc, as well as wooded picnic areas. Would definitely recommend ...

The Place to Stay for families and Burns' Night

Posted Jan 29, 2009 on Hotels.com
My wife and I had stayed at Wychnor before with friends from nearby, and thought it time to share the secret with friends from home. We brought a family with two young daughters who loved the place, especially the pool, the dining room, the countryside and Lichfield. They were able to enjoy the Pantomime at Little Aston, and we indulged ourselves with the Burns Night celebrations at Aldridge. Now how about putting on a Panto and a Burns' Night dinner-dance at Wychnor Next Year?

Very good value

Beautiful hotel. Lovely apartments with all comforts needed for a relaxing break. AA directions no good though as it directed us to a road that no longer exists.

Excellent place to stay!!

Posted Oct 19, 2008 on Hotels.com
This place was recommended by a friend and we couldn't believe our luck with the accommodation and prices. There were 4 adults and 2 children and we received a two bedroom house, 1 en-suite with a fully fitted kitchen. It was a central location for Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and Cadburys World. We didn't eat in the hotel as it was a short distance for good pub grub and to the supermarket. There was also a swimming pool that unfortunately we didn't have time to use. We would all return tomorrow!!

best over night stay yet

Although my husband and I were only staying the 1 night, we would highly recommend this hotel , because everything you want is there, staff very pleasant and helpful, unfortunately we could not sample the restaurant as it was closed on the Tuesday night, but we had a good and enjoyable meal from the bar menu. As for the rooms they surpassed our expectation, you would have thought your were in a 5 star hotel.

Great value for money

Posted Oct 3, 2008 on Hotels.com
We stayed in one of the apartments and they are excellent value for money. It sleeps up to 6 people (2 on sofa bed) and there is a fully equiped kitchen and dining table. Lots of facilities for families within the grounds.
