Very close to French QuarterPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Those sleep number beds were stuck on slab of concrete mode.
Location: French Quarter, 10 minute walk to Warehouse District and mall. 20 minutes to Convention Center.
Clean and well kept. Close to French Quarter. Nice and comfortable room. Only detraction was the beds being hard as a rock.

Great Location, Great staff.Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Staff was very professional.
Cons: Rooms could be a little more soundproof. Read experience above. Problems with the kitchen on second night forced us to go offsite to eat.
Location: We attended the Pelicans game (Smoothie King Center next to Superdome), Aquarium of the Americas, iMax, Riverwalk shopping center and Café du Monde.
We stayed at this hotel on the 5th and 6th of March, 2015. We booked it so our walk to the Smoothie King Center would be a short one when we attended a Pelicans game on Friday night. Overall the Hotel was excellent. It was easy to find, the valet parking was capably handled like most Hilton hotels, the room was well appointed and comfortable, and the arrival and checkout process were very quick. The only knock on the stay was that the rooms were not soundproof and I was awakened in the middle of the night (3:30 a.m.) to the sound of a bed banging against the wall and it was heard once again around 9 a.m. Thankfully I was not forced to explain it to my eleven year old. Also, when we arrived back at the hotel after the Pelicans game around 9:15 p.m. we decided to grab a bite at the restaurant which we were told is open until 10 p.m. The hostess approached and told us that our wait would be an hour and a half because they had only one chef and there were three orders ahead of ours. It sounded a little fishy to me so we left and found another option away from the hotel. All-in-all it was an excellent stay and we will likely book there again. The walk to the Riverwalk, Aquarium, and Café du Monde were not far.

Nice hotelPosted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: It was clean, the staff was phenomenal, and if we needed anything they made it happen.
Location: Everything is available within walking distance. Bourbon Street, Canal Street, French Market, you name it.
We stayed for a long weekend (Fri to Tue). This hotel worked great for us because it was clean, friendly, and within walking distance to the French Market and Bourbon Street.

Great LocationPosted Feb 24, 2015
We had a great experience with this hotel. The rooms were nice, and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We were visiting for Mardi Gras and found that the location was perfect. We walked everywhere and it was in close proximity to everything we needed. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast that the hotel had. We would definitely return to this hotel in future visits.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at!Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: So clean! Friendliest staff ever!
Cons: Absolutely nothing :)
Location: Great diner called Daisy Dukes right around the corner, 5 minute walk away from Bourbon street, starbucks, CVS, and even a $1 trolley service :)
I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel- and I'm typically very picky! The staff was friendlier than any other hotel that I have ever stayed at. The hotel cleanliness was phenomenal; it seemed like it was brand new! The lobby was beautiful, clean and friendly. The rooms were perfect with an extra couch, a microwave, refrigerator, plenty of bathroom sink space, free coffee in the lobby every morning, vending machines etc. I honestly could not have asked for a cleaner, more promising hotel to stay at. And it was only about a 5-10 minute walk to bourbon street! Also there was closet and drawer space, the heat worked perfectly in our room, and once again I was so impressed with the staff whether that be the friendly maids, the bellhop helping call us a cap and carry our luggage or the friendly front desk receptionist. Thank you Hilton! I will choose this hotel chain no matter where I go from here on out :)

Noiseie elevators everPosted Feb 22, 2015
Ask for a room that is away from elevators when you are sleeping it sounds like the street cart is driving up and down the hallways.

close to French QuarterPosted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: On the positive, had extremely positive experiences with Concierge services.
Cons: Be more transparent with breakfast fees. Have French toast available daily! Ice machine broken on 14th floor one night.
Location: Location near (technically probably within) the French Quarter. Close by taxis to all related attractions, e.g., WWII museum, convention center, etc.
Was charged $13.95 for daily breakfast but Hilton hotel lounge restaurant didn't have French Toast available on 3 of 5 days. Didn't look close enough at original booking to understand breakfast was not included. On the positive, had very positive experience with Concierge services. Right now, I do not recommend hotel due to daily street construction in front of hotel.
