Nice staff and generally clean facility. This is a decent hotel in a good area. The facilities are just a bit rundown. I was told that it was built in anticipation of a casino and racetrack. Perhaps since it never came they can’t afford to keep it completely updated? Bed was not very comfortable. Stayed 2 nights. Again it was clean and safe.

Hot tub was out of service
Everything was wonderful and service was great. But the only complaint I had was the hot tub wasnt working and in the morning the pool was closed as well. We went there mainly for thoses reasons. But overall it was a nice place. And I called to verify if hot tub and pool was working they told me yes.

The Front Desk Reception Staff and Housekeeping/Maintenance Staff are professional, friendly and are committed to excellent Customer Service. Complimentary Breakfast is excellent. Great coffee! Facility amenities are well maintained. Love the fact it is "Pet Friendly"!! Highly recommend!

We are Hilton honors members and booked online on Expedia website. Upon arrival we were told the room we booked was only qualified for a handicap room. The hotel was not at capacity. The person at the front desk was rude and would not allow us to switch. The room was disheveled; wallpaper peeling, dust ruffle on the floor, stained chair. Our last stay at this hotel unfortunately. Our family lives in New Castle and we have stayed there many times. It appears this hotel is a bad representation of the Hampton brand.

Thanks to “Verdant” climate control and despite one receptionist’s effort the AC cut out on a preset schedule. It actually switched to heat in the middle of the night or turned itself off when no motion was detected. After the “Free” WiFi took over a half hour to set up with tech support it cutout whenever we tried to stream. We watched a housekeeper reach through a room’s trash, leaving the used plastic bag in the wastebasket for the next occupants. The complimentary tea was helpful, though.

Great weekend stay!
Beautiful clean room..short weekend stay. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool or spa. Breakfast was good, typical hotel breakfast but satisfying.

The staff was friendly. The location and shopping options was wonderful. breakfast was good with various options... my daughter loved the strawberry waffle and staff was very attentive to the breakfast area. the pool closes at 10:00 p.m. but there's no clock in the room to let you know what time it is. the morning of my checkout they closed off the jacuzzi so that they could clean it. I was glad it was being maintenenced but wish they would have taken care of this before the jacuzzi opened for the day to allow me to be able to utilize it before my check out as this was one of the deciding factors for choosing this location.

Staff was generally 'ok', one lady was quite nice and helpful. The hotel was unclean-stairwell, elevator, and room. Fingernails between night stands and the bed, and the bathroom sink had hair and some toothpaste residue in it. Fitness center didn't have any towels or Clorox wipes. Booked through hotels.com and therefore was unable to leave and get money back.

Overall this stay was a disappointment. I booked at this hotel because there was a pool and hot tub. Both were out of order and my niece was looking forward to a swim. Also the hotel is very dated and we were asked to join Hilton honors before we could use the wifi. The location was fine and it was quiet. My daughter found her bed to be very firm and not comfortable. Too bad I usually prefer Hampton Inn when traveling but would not recommend this one.
