Small hotel with an amazing viewPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We chose La Pedrera for a romantic weekend and we were really happy with our choice. This was actually our second stay in this hotel. The staff was super nice and friendly. The view (both from the room and from the pool & restaurant) is simply breathtaking. The hotel overlooks Joao Fernandez beach, which is 3 blocks away downhill (it is a little workout climbing back...) and is not far away from downtown Buzios (a 10-15 walk). The breakfast was included and was really good. Overall, it was a great experience.

Romantic hotel with a wondeful ocean viewPosted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The view was amazing, both from the room and the public spaces in the hotel. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: I don´t know, I really didn´t find anything to complain about.
Location: The hotel is three blocks from Joao Fernandez beach, not far from "downtown" Buzios (10/15 minutes walk). There are other beaches nearby.
We booked a room in La Pedrera with my girlfriend to spend a weekend in Buzios. It is a small and comfortable hotel (I think around 15 rooms), located three blocks from Joao Fernandez, a very nice beach. We were very happy with the choice and we ended up returning the following weekend!

Over All Great Experience!Posted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: The heated pool, the bedroom, and the morning breakfast
Cons: the spa and the lack of English speaking staff
Location: The location was great, short walk to the beach that we wanted to see most of all. The distance to downtown is much to far to walk.
Great hotel, I would defiantly return, after I learn to speak Portuguese. This hotel doesn't speak any English.

Pros: The view, the privacy and the service
Cons: "small" rooms
Location: Up in the hill of armacao dos buzios
What a lovely place. The service was just outstanding, without any intrusiveness. Small, Private, Cute and the view, please, the view and the place is just amazing. Thanks Anderson!

Relaxing StayPosted Mar 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a little of the beaten track, but still very handy to the main town with great restaurants, bars etc (you must try the Thai restaurant, amazing!). The hotel staff were lovely. The pool/bar is in the perfect spot - great views.

Amazing ViewPosted Nov 19, 2011
It's a good walk up and down each morning but the view from the superior room can't be beat. Friendly staff. Jacuzzi was not very hot.

Very good hotel! perfect to relax!Posted Sep 18, 2011
Despite the fact that he hotel is more for couples I went by myself and had a very pleasent stay. Sateff if very friendly, the hotel which is also a spa is very pretty, well maintained. the only problem I found was location since its a bit far away from the 2 main streets in Buzios.
