Excelente pleasant hotel at walkable distance from shopping and restaurants area. Huge room with fridge and comfy queen bed. Highly recommended as a choice to be next to where things happen in Buzios

Great location, nice place and decoration. The only thing to improve is the cleanness of the kitchen and the rooms, they clean every 3 days and the day that our room had to be cleaned they did it very late.

A great place to stay in Buzios
Hotel was beautiful ,in the center of Buzios ,2 blocks from beach. Come with breakfast.comforable bed . Pool Jacuzzi, sauna large bed launge by each room . Staff excellent after check out they held our bags and let us shower at ghe end of day before we had to get ride bome at night

Perola Buzios
The stay at Perola Buzios Hotel & Conversion was amazing. The hotel location is very convenient and close to the major city attractions. The staff is courteous and the infrastructure is great. The rooms are extremely clean and taken care of on a daily basis. The food and drinks from the restaurant and bar are top notch.

We checked out after two days, we were booked for six days!!. The incessant noise we had endure was terrible, you will notice the rooms are in circle surrounding the pool at the end of the pool is a bar they erect large speakers which BOOM out very loud music from 10 til 10 !!! The configuration of the rooms create an amphitheatre effect. We complained about the noise and the staff said we could move to another room but they said it would make no difference. Now don't get me wrong I love music but to have it this loud and all day was too much to bear. The next problem we had on the two mornings we stayed was "breakfast" what a fiasco they couldn't organise a p#$$ up in a brewery!! No spoons! No bowls! Knowhere to sit had to wait for tables to become vacant and then cleaned. We asked for a refund as we only stayed 2 from our 6 nights originally booked, they would not do it as I had booked with Expedia, and was told to take it up with them I am not holding my breath Expedia! Also my partner Jill wanted a pedicure but didn't have anyone to do this? This is supposed to be a spa hotel. All in all terrible experience, book at your own peril but if you want a quiet lazy day relaxing around the pool take heavy duty ear defenders!!!.

We bought a black pearl necklace at Gift Shop, place was awesome for me, my wife, & brother in-law. Breakfast was good, and so close to all the stores/restaurants. But be careful because its over priced in Buzios...

Not a pearl any longer...
My wife and I have been staying at this hotel since it carried the "Nikki Beach Hotel" banner, and we loved the place. In general the hotel infrastructure has remained the same, but it is sad to realize that the service quality has been declining along the years. When we arrived at the hotel, on December 26, the swimming pool was closed for maintenance: the water looked dark and sort of mucky, as my photos show. The pool remained closed until the mid afternoon of December 27, but the water kept its dark color and was very uninviting. The staff at the reception desk was inexperienced/undertrained: one of the staff was a foreign girl who did not speak nor understand Portuguese, which is totally unacceptable for any hotel located in Brazil. The Brazilian staff at the reception did not seem to speak any foreign language, which is also unacceptable in a place like Buzios, which attracts tourists from allover the world. On the late afternoon of December 27 while I was taking a shower after a day on the beach the water simply dried up! I complained at the reception desk but no one did really seem to care. On December 28 it was even worse: there was no water for a shower, and the staff was again slow in responding. What upset me most was the manager never being seen on the premises, and no one else seemed to be able to make decisions to try and solve the swimming pool ou lack of water problems. Unfortunately it seems that the "pearl" is turning into a lusterless stone...

Very good hotel
Hreat trip, very giod hotel. Great breakfast, excellent pool, great location. The only going to pick is that they give you coupons for a welcome drink. To me, the implication is a welcome drink. It turns out it’s either a Caipirinha or lemonade. As a diabetic, i can drink neither. When I asked, that’s what I was told. I complained to management, and they did offer to change it to a soft drink. To me it is a bait and switch. Either put specifics on the voucher, I don’t give a voucher. Otherwise, really good hotel.

Excellent location and hotel facilities.
The highlight is the location of the hotel. It is located right next to the Rua das Pedras, which is where all the nice restaurants, bars, souvenir shops and stores are situated. All these things are walking-distance from the hotel. Hotel has nice facilities and the staff were really professional.

Perola Buzios is a nice hotel well located in downtown Buzios. The hotel has seen better days and could use some refurbishing at pool site as well as in the rooms. Breakfast was nice, but i felt that there could have been more variety given the status of the hotel.

Great place to stay in downtown Buzios
As long as you want to stay downtown, this place is great, with easy access to restaurants, bars, and nightlife. Note, there isn't a beach nearby, so you will need a car or to take a taxi.

Great resort in Buzios
We booked a couple of rooms here over our break, the staff spoke great english and helped us find things to do and helped book activities and reservations. The Hotel is a quick walk from the bus stop, and right in the city.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times. Before this trip, my last visit was 4 years ago. The hotel has gone done in both service and facilities. Examples include no wifi, room keys and door locks that don't work, inadequate staff, etc.

Centrally located hotel with great pool area
I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in the centre of things. Spacious room with good air con and helpful staff . Very good breakfast. A few gripes - the shower had terrible water pressure so you have to wait to get wet! Also quite a lot of noise from the street at night, but other than that I would recommend.

Buzios Centro-OUTSTANDING!!!
The staff was friendly and quite helpful. So close to shops and really good restaurants. We were offered champagne or juice upon arrival--nice touch. The pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast, which was included with the room, was awesome. We plan to stay here again.

Hotel muito bem localizado. Com acesso à rua das pedras facilitado. Como elogio posso citar os funcionários que são muito educados e prestativos. Agora uma série de melhorias são necessárias: Não tem TV no quarto. Isso deveria ser muito melhor explicitado. Precisa manutenção. Cortina do beliche com arcos soltando. Precisa melhorar limpeza… quarto com areia no chão. Pia do banheiro com cabelos entupindo a saída d’água. Também não gostei do café da manhã. É em um esquema de combos. Estava frio e não usamos a piscina, mas ficamos em bangalôs e nitidamente precisam de reforma. Só li as avaliações depois de ter chegado ao hotel. Do contrário não teria reservado. Complicado. Acho que com poucas mudanças o hotel poderia ser melhor.

Hotel muito bonito, quarto grande, banheiro ótimo, localização perfeita. Comunicação com o hotel para informações - péssimo. Área comum parcialmente limpa, com colchões do bangalô com mofo, piscina soltando a tinta. Os funcionários do restaurante nota 10 muito educados e a comida muito boa. Os funcionários do hotel, são educados só vemos no check in e no checkout. Os vigias são muito bons e educados. Do quarto só tenho uma reclamação NÃO TER TELEVISÃO, nunca fiquei num hotel sem TV no quarto… Por isso que é bom o hotel atender o telefone com presteza e aqui deixou a desejar.
