Pros: Convenient for Highway 1 Good that you can get up early, have your breakfast and get on with your journey.
Cons: Very dark in room, needs extra lighting.
Location: You can travel in any direction from here North south east or west, very well situated.
Old hotel needs a whole lot of TLC but serves your basic needs. There is a reasonable restaurant that is attached to the hotel. Very dark in the room, needs extra lighting.

This motel should have been knocked down in the 80Posted Jul 2, 2015
Motel not hotel. This motel should have knocked down in the 80s. The blankets I used on my military bed in the 80s. I think the sandman should be ashamed of this property. I always trust certain hotel chains. Not this one anymore!!

Nice stopoverPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Update the bathroom
Our stay at Sandman Inn was very pleasant. It was our last night in British Columbia and had spotted several Sandman Inns along the way. This inn was much older with outside entry into the rooms; however, the setting was very beautiful beside a creek with lovely flowers just a stones throw away. WiFi was available and we were thankful for that so I could login to get boarding passes for the next day. No business center and no access to printer, but that turned out to not be a problem. The restaurant was very accommodating to two requests I had. We would stay at this Sandman Inn again.

A surprisingly good stayPosted Jul 3, 2014
Stayed in this room for 4 nights while at a geocaching event. Our room was quiet, the beds comfortable and it was clean. The staff messed up my reservation but fixed it with no problem. A very good and comfortable stay for the price. Staff went out of their way for a special request. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Nice but noisy and hotPosted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: The managers
Location: too close to the highway and poor long unit parking
The room was nice but dated. Old style key entry with no interior deadbolt lock. The room was hot and the air conditioner was too noisy to sleep with it on.

Nice motelPosted Jun 8, 2013
Pros: Staff, attention to making the surroundings nice
Really nice staff, and they have really taken the trouble to make a spot on the corner of 2 highways as nice as possible (flowers, picnic table etc.). Quiet at night in spite of being on the road.

Great Place to StayPosted Apr 3, 2013
Pros: It is clean & quiet, front desk staff friendly!
It is a nice clean comfortable place. Our room was a bit cramped & the door to the room didn't close behind you, but stayed open unless you pushed it closed! It was quiet & we would definately stay there again!
