Perfect location, over-the-top servicePosted Oct 28, 2014
We arrived late after a long day of hiking various sites in southern Spain, rang the bell for entry into what promised to be a very nice facility. Within a few seconds the night manager opened the door and let us in. We had parked illegally out front and asked the manager where he would like us to park. He directed us to a spot across the street that we had already seen but would not accommodate our full-size van. He promptly came outside, moved his small, personal car from a larger spot next to the hotel, and directed us to park there while he moved his car to the available spot across the street. We were blown away that he would do this for us. He promptly showed our group of six to the three rooms we had reserved through Expedia and patiently waited while each couple chose the room they would like. Each room was quite spacious by European standards and beautifully furnished. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were large and fully equipped with high quality fixtures. We elected to eat breakfast at the hotel. The buffet was inviting and substantial, with a large variety of fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, and juices. We were all quite impressed already and then the gracious host asked us how we would like our eggs prepared!! What a great start to a day! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Excellent customer servicePosted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Staff, breakfasts, cleanliness, roof terrace and price.
Location: Very central and well located for visits to Alcazar, Cathedral, Bodegas and a variety of restaurants and bars.
This is an extremely comfortable, well located and good value hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent. However, what really makes this hotel stand out from others is the exceptional care and attention of Monika and her staff who are dedicated to ensuring that you get the most out of your stay in Jerez. Truly 5 star service and way beyond anything delivered in many higher cost establishments. Would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely hotel, lovingly run.Posted Sep 25, 2014
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully appointed hotel. It's perfectly situated for a stay in Jerez, which is made all the better by Monika, the proprietor, who goes out of her way to be helpful. Parking is tricky if you're driving and it is helpful to call ahead for Monika's guidance.

This hotel is just lovely.Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Lovely staff, elegant hotel and great location. Conveniently positioned between station and town centre.
Cons: Free wifi but a little slow.
Location: jerez town centre and sherry bodegas are a short walk.
The hotel might not look fancy from the outside, but it is a gem. The rooms are set around a courtyard and are elegant, clean and quiet. They also have good air con which is needed in Jerez in the summer. The staff are all really helpful and friendly. The location is convenient for the centre of Jerez without being smack bang in the middle. This is one of those rare hotels where you seem to get a bit more than you paid for.

We had a fantastic stay.Posted Aug 15, 2014
The hotel was lovely and central for all our needs. The staff were extremely helpful and bent over backwards to accommodate us in every way. Nothing seemed too much trouble! We were very sad to come home, but we would definitely consider returning and also recommending the Casa Grande to family/friends.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, great!Posted Jun 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Beautiful hotel, really nicely decorated, full of character and very welcoming. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and gave good advice. Breakfast varied and good quality - not cheap, by the standards of the cafes around offering pastry, coffee and juice for a couple of euros, but then we didn't need lunch and on a day that started with thunderstaorms and torrential rain, we felt it was well worth it! We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the roof terrace and quiet reading room and really relax - we definitely hope to go again!

Lovely, elegant hotel in an ideal location.Posted Jun 24, 2014
Cons: We'd have liked to stay longer!
Location: The hotel was in an ideal location; you could walk to all parts of the city in a relatively short time and great restaurants were nearby.
Our experience of the hotel was exceptional in every way. The room was lovely, the breakfast delicious and the help from all the staff outstanding - we couldn't fault it. We'd definitely recommend the hotel and would love to return.

A delightful place to stay!Posted Apr 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Well located, and with charming and good sized rooms, the hotel benefits most from the hostess Monika! She is fluent in several languages, and knowledgeable about the various attractions, restaurants, bodegas and stores. The breakfast is typical Spanish; excellent cold cuts and breads, coffee, tea and juices, and you can get eggs and bacon cooked as well. Good walking locations, you can get to several places easily, and others are a ten minute cab ride away. We really can't imagine anything better, at least not without doubling the price, and then you'd lose all the charm!

Very helpfulPosted Feb 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is easy to find as it is only ten minutes walk from the bus/train station and five minutes from the main square. The hotel looks, and is, fantastic and the staff were flawlessly helpful and knowledgeable about things to do/see and where to eat and drink including the bodega options. The bedrooms have a simple but tasteful look but with very comfortable beds and the bathrooms were very modern. Easy to recommend.
