Good accommodation close to port and bus stationPosted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: The hotel was handy to our rental car depot for drop off and to the port for ferries. The bus station was nearby.
Cons: Providing breakfast would be very convenient.
Location: Handy for taking bus to Gibraltar.

Night in AlgecirasPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: The location, the availability of wifi and the reasonable price.
Location: The port to go to Morocco is right across the street. The main square, with some good places to eat tapas is within walking distance.
We spent one night in Algeciras before taking the ferry to Tangier. Hotel Marina Victoria was perfect for this purpose, since it is located across the street from the port.

Good value. No frills room, but that's okay for me. Location is the best as the train, bus, and port and only a couple minutes. This minimizes your time in algeciras, which unfortunately is pretty bad.

Hotel is fine for a night or twoPosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Close to port, clean, good wifi.
Cons: I tried to call the hotel multiple times and no one answered the phone. We requested a double bed. request denied.
Location: Great affordable authentic Spanish restaurant around the corner. Amazing beach with great shops and restaurants only a few minutes away by bus.
This hotel is fine for a night or two. Very standard. We asked for a double bed but the request was denied, even though it seemed we were the only guests... I tried to call my wife at the hotel and the phone just rang and rang, i asked when i returned if the number was correct and the front desk confirmed it was, i was slighty annoyed becuase i had to walk all the way back to get in touch with my wife. The housekeeper did a great job, and if you are coming from or leaving through the port of Algeciras, the location is literally across the street. The Wifi worked well and we were able to take a bus to an amazing beach only 10 minutes away. Overall a pleasant stay for two nights, but if you are doing more than just "passing through" you might want to look elsewhere.

Great for the ferry to TangiersPosted Apr 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice lady at the desk. Room adequate for a nights sleep. The hotel is 120 years old, but remodeled bathrooms are good. We got a room and took a day trip to Tangiers.

Excellent location for bus & ferryPosted Mar 6, 2013
Excellent location, only a few minutes walk from the bus station and directly opposite the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean.

Location, location, location, IF taking ferryPosted Dec 18, 2012
Pros: location to ferry; great value for your money
Cons: it is a little drab; it's clean, the room is good size, but it is basic;
Location: directly in front of the port; remember to walk around the right side of the hotel and up about 50 meters and take another right. The area is quaint
It's nice but it is old; you are staying here for the convenience, I assume. It IS very convenient! Check out the area behind the hotel too; it's beautiful.

Fine hotel if you are using the ferry to cuetaPosted Sep 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is average at best but has a few positives. The staff are very friendly and will help if they can. Not the best with English, but enough to get by. There is a SECURE parking lot across the street at ok rates. I rented a convertible for the drive along the Spanish coast, which is def worth the extra cash!!!! I was worried about parking, but this place had large spaces (relative to Spain) and was lit and guarded all night. The ferry port was just across the street but I choose to go to Tarifa and take the ferry there to Tangiers. I would suggest staying in Tarifa rather than Algeciras as Tarifa is far more picturesque. Algeciras is a industrial town. anyhoo...this hotel is fine for the price if you choose to stay here for the ferry. The restaurants
