Close to beach but you'd never knowPosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, good location.
Cons: Lighting in hallways!
We were disappointed. Though one block from beach, there were ne beach views anywhere, no outdoor area to sit except for a couple of chairs out front on the street. Bar (next door) was closing when we wanted a drink. Hallway lighting was dark, and sometimes off. Decor seemed tired and needed updating. WIFI kept kicking us off. Staff was friendly and helpful, but cannot recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel for beach and Cadiz old town.Posted Sep 29, 2013
Extremely helpful staff, especially one of receptionists who went out of her way to help us find a hire car at very short notice.

A/C needs an overhaulPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We liked the location of the hotel and the room was quite spacious but what good is that if the A/C can't cool the size of the room. The bathroom had no vents and therefore stayed hot the whole time. We asked for maintenance to check the A/C and they said it was working properly. That's scary if that's what they think "working properly" is, cause our room never cooled off and we were so glad we were only staying one night.

Great Beach Hotel!Posted May 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for 2 nights and ended up extending another night! It was a great location- just blocks from the beach and a 15-20 minute walk to the "Center" of town. The room was large and contemporary, with a great bathroom. Could have had better bed spreads, but it wasn't detrimental to our stay. The front desk staff were very helpful. We needed to print, fill out, and scan a form and they directed us to their computer and free printer in the lobby and then scanned the form and emailed it to us right after. They also made great recommendations for local restaurants. The cafe they have in the lobby is perfect for breakfast before you get your day started. It also helped having a grocery store right next door, snacks and picnic lunches were easy to put together. The only downside to the hotel was the wifi situation. While the wifi was free and throughout the hotel, the quality was questionable, especially for tablets and phones. The connection went in and out and the reception staff didn't seem to know what to do about it. If there was something important, it was best to connect in the lobby or use their desktop computer. Overall, we loved our stay here and would stay there again.

An excellent place to stay in CadizPosted May 16, 2013
The location was great, a minute from the sea and half an hour walk to the old town along the promenade. Our room was large, clean and comfortable; the shower was excellent and the bed enormous. The staff were very pleasant and very helpful.

Modern Hotel with plenty of roomPosted May 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a block away from the beach, surrounded by history with good cab and local bus service to any destination in Cadiz. About an hour and a half from Seville, this was a great one night stay. The staff was very helpful with good suggestions for local establishments to eat/drink at as well. The rooms had plenty of space, even with a roll away bed added as well.

Great hotel in ideal locationPosted Mar 26, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, standard of room and ideal location
Cons: Corridors / public areas aren't up to the exceptional spec' of the rooms. No tea-making facilities - but compensated for by excellence elsewhere
Location: Couldn't be better for your average tourist
Wonderfully located hotel, quite literally a stone's throw from the beach, and within a few minutes walk of the old town. Bus stop outside so you can easily get a bus to the old part for €1. We used the hotel's underground car park which is tighter than the tightest car park you've ever visited but was good value and secure. However, you don't need to use the car once it's parked as there's plenty to do if you're staying for two nights and three days like us. The staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly and amazingly, for a hotel of this size, were immediately aware of who we were when we checked in. All staff always made a point of greeting us whenever we came and went. The room was about as good as it gets with plenty of space and trendy design, large flat screen and uber-modern bathroom. Considering the price we paid it all made for a great break. Situated on the main 'drag', it is still very quiet with its quadruple glazing. Our one criticism would be lack of tea-making facilities. As we knew this in advance we brought our travel kettle so it wasn't a major problem. There's a big fridge (and a very reasonably priced mini bar) so you can keep milk fresh which you buy from the supermarket at the side of the hotel. We plan to go back and would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to everyone.

great locationPosted Mar 14, 2013
Hotel is in a great spot. It's within easy walking distance of the old town and really close for long walks down the sea promenade. The hotel has a cafe attached which is great for coffee/drinks during the day.
