“Mixed review”
If you want a Parador experience, this one is comparatively inexpensive. The staff is very good. The former Governor General's palace, the courtyard, restaurant, lounge and public rooms are lovely and the view over the valley is magnificent. Rooms are a little run down and not too well tended. The little square in front is under construction until May 2010 - noisy, dusty and congested. Definitely park in the big lot at Plaza Espagna/Andalusia. The tiny minibus goes right up to the square for 1 euro. Next time, I would visit Arcos as a day trip and have lunch in the Parador and then go on to Ronda for the night.
