Excellent location for Jerez historical centrePosted May 29, 2013
Very relaxing and informal hotel. Gardens are delightful to walk around. Staff always willing to be helpful. One note of caution, at weekends they seem to have multiple weddings and this can be a little noisy, however, they finish at a sensible time.

Stylish, Spacious Hotel in City Centre.Posted May 24, 2013
Pros: Stylish room, very comfortable bed, spacious, stylish shower, spotlessly clean room, Convenient parking.
Location: City centre, convenient for all sights and Bodegas.
Very Stylish Hotel in spacious surroundings in the city centre. Convenient parking in hotel grounds. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. Delicious buffet breakfast included. Great value for money too. We would certainly book here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Walking distance to equestrian schoolPosted Mar 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was a cold February but the bedroom was lovely and warm and very comfortable and a good size. Staff helpful. Breakfast Monday morning was poor but Tuesday everything was set out and good.

Ready for T.L.C.Posted Feb 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here 2 years ago and were really keen to come back as it was an excellent 5* with really good service and staff attention then. Apparently has been taken over by a new hotel company several months ago and it shows. Staff seem demoralised (but still very helpful), and many things looking tired. No 5 star feel now. Television in need of changing to something more modern. Room furniture needs updating. Restaurant facilities severely curtailed and only takeaway type food available whereas it used to be a very good restaurant with style. No jaccuzi any more and had to ask for sauna to be put on. Gardens needing attention, a few hours weeding and sweeping would make such a difference.
Lack of Catering FacilitiesPosted Nov 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were disappointed in the "quality" of the "snack menu" It was not 5 star quality and seemed to be something from the freezer microwaved by the waitress. There are no meals available at Lunch or Dinner and not many restaurants in the immediate area.

The Spanish InvadersPosted Oct 11, 2012
Pros: size of room
Cons: slight smell of sewage in corridor
Location: very well placed for a pleasant walk into the town
this hotel is great , even if in need of a little TLC. The room was the largest we have ever experienced outside the USA, with a fabulous bathroom and a little garden terrace with furniture. The staff were very helpful and the setting was peaceful as it is about 10 mins walk to the main squares etc. Jerez comes to life at night like most Spanish cities and you are spoilt for choice of restaurants and tapas bars all within a short walk. This one of 12 different hotels/paradors we have stayed in during are drive from England to Lanzarote and we would definitely return not only to Jerez but this hotel in particular, especially if we can obtain the same deal with Expedia !

Excellent service, a very grown up propertyPosted Jul 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Great, friendly service. The property has a very tranquile and exclusive ambience to which the spacious and leafy inner court yard adds a great deal of unique comfort and rare exclusivity.

One night in paradisePosted May 31, 2012
Pros: The setting was so pretty
Cons: There is nothing I could say I did not like
Location: Excellent- just a short and pleasant walk to the centre
The Hotel staff were helpful and spoke good English. The room was beautiful- quite like any we have ever experienced. We had a small balcony with a lovely view of the garden. There was a good size small pool in an area for relaxing and a lovely indoor sitting area. The grounds were well kept. Our room was spotlessly clean. Very good facilities. Wonderfully quiet. Good location from the town which was a short and pleasant walk. Very close to the Andalusia Horse museum which was the reason for our visit. Also a stone’s throw from the Sandlewood Museum. I could not fault this hotel in any way- I am definitely going back to stay there with my husband.

Accomodating and friendly went the extra milePosted May 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
Excellent gorgeous hotel. They even called a taxi to recommended restaurant. Fare paid by restaurant. Free Jerez sherry on arrival at reception in hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and could be healthy too with fine selection of fruit etc. The 30 min taxi tour you can take from the hotel was very informative and value for money. The room was luxurious. The mini bar was worth raiding as also reasonable. 5 star luxury with a budget price. Very pleasantly pleased and in a gorgeous city.
