“Worth Staying At”

Decent size room, modernist, minimal decor. No noise even tho we had a room at the front on the main road into Jerez. We seemed to be the only ones staying there tho' that could have been because mid-week in November. Good choice at breakfast. All the staff were lovely, friendly and mainly spoke English. Pls note that there doesn't seem to be a restaurant as such, and the cafeteria bar only opens twice a day, closing at 8.30. Not a problem as lots of nice tapas bars in Jerez. All in all, lovely stay and would definitely go back to this hotel.

“'Tryp' to Jerez”

I found the hotel to be excellent. The staff were all very friendly and some had some English as I had no Spanish! The buffet breakfast must be mentioned. There is a wide range of food available, including cooked bacon, sausages etc. Plent of healthy options as well. I stayed four nights and after the first time I went for breakfast the coffee pot was on the table waiting for you as you chose your food. Excellent service. The hotel is well situated for getting around the city and many of the attractions are within walking distance.

“Good value hotel, excellent location”

Was really impressed with the hotel for the price I paid. Very helpful and friendly staff, nice large quiet room and great location was getting around. The only minor criticism was the lack of free wifi in the deal, but available if you wanted to pay or upgraderoom/package.

“Excellant Location”

Right in the middle of Jerez and easily located by the hotel direction signs when driving. Car parking available at a reasonable cost. A short walk to the sherry bodegas.

“Good Location”

This hotel is right across from the tourist information center. There was a little bit of a communication problem with the staff, but it was manageable. It is definitely not as nice as we were used to in the US, but still it was typical european. The beds were narrow and stiff, but clean.

“Good quality rooms and service”

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from a network of Plazas containing some of the best cafes and tapas bars in the region. As a result did not eat in the hotel but the coffee bar in the main foyer and the restaurant looked inviting.There is a cafe only 100 yards from the hotel entrance which serves a perfectly good breakfast so no need to go inclusive.There is a taxi rank outside the hotel and the going rate to the airport was 16 Euros.

“Great base for exploring Jerez”

The hotel was an excellent base for exploring Jerez. The receptionist Yolanda was extremely helpful. Each evening she made suggestions about which restuarants to dine at and then made the bookings for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her (Checking train times, boats, etc). Great service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Not much of a view but having said that we only slept and washed in them. Breakfast could have been slightly better. Not too bad a choice but cheap cereals!. All in all, I would recommend staying at the hotel and we (group of 7) would stay there again too.

A pity the hotel does not offer evening meals. Otherwise no complaints.

“a 3 star hotel in need of renovations”

While the reception is inviting and the bathroom was nice and modern, the rooms need a facelift including the windows with wood that is rotting. The room we were given was inside or in the back and had very little light. We asked to change and were given one facing south at the front of the building. Of course it was warmer with the sun coming in, but... surprise... they still had not turned on their centrally controlled air conditionning the week after Easter. So for 3 days/nights, we were hot and miserable. The hotel is nicely located, but I would not return untill they modernize.

“Nice hotel and location”

The hotel itself is in a nice part of town and very close to the equistrian centre and many of the bodegas. The service in the hotel was sparse and arrival was chaotic. Parking costs were high might be worth checking out another option. Keep a receipt if you pay up front. Altogether though a good hotel.
