“Sardinia”

The hotel was found to be very clean, well maintained with very helpful and pleasant staff. Rooms within a close distance to two large pools, which we often found we had to ourselves, but not close enough to allow any users to disturb us. Hotel provided free towels and sun loungers for use around pool and grounds. The only slight grumble we found with the hotel was the location. We expected this as other reviewers had noted that the hotel is off the main road (up a dirt track) and is some distance away from the nearest town centre. A car or taxi is essential in order to get to other ammenities although the hotel does offer a bus to a sister hotel located on the beach. The hotel offers a quiet and peaceful location in order to lap up the sun and de-stress.

“Lovely Hotel, in a beautiful resort”

Cruccuris was a great hotel. Good living conditions with friendly and english speaking hotel staff. The evening dinner was fantastic and well worth staying for even if you are just booked for bed and breakfast as it far surpasses the restaurant meals in Villasimius itself. It was very much a couple's hotel with only one baby present and no children around. We really would recommend villasimius, the beaches are completely beautiful!

“Great place, need car”

This was one of those paradise hotels with a gentle laid back atmosphere. The staff were very accomodating, especially to our veggie dietary requirements. The location is the only downfall, but that is only if you do not have a car. Most guests drive here and spend the day at one of the many gorgeous beaches in the area. The two swimming pools are perfect for relaxing after getting back from the beach. We would definitely come back, which is not something I say often, considering the thousands of locations in the world that I have not been to.

“Relaxed and Welcoming”

The resort was an oasis of relaxation and peace. The setting is fabulous and the pools and grounds really special: well maintained and beautifully planted. The staff were attentive and discrete. We had three small children in our party and they were doted on! You definitely need a car to stay here, but you need a car to strike out to all the lovely restauarants and beaches that feature in the area. I will definitely go back!

Had a wonderful holiday, lovely Hotel very caring staff, Great food and weather. The garden at this hotel is wonderfull. Villasimius is a lovely little town with lots of great beaches.

“Really good place to stay”

Very pleased with the hotel. Just as described on all the websites we visited - nice decor and furnishings throughout, rooms spacious and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a bit out of the way for the town/restaurants/beaches, so you do need a hire car, but this didn't spoil it at all for us as we were going to hire a car anyway. The hotel is set in a peaceful location and is probably more ideally suited for couples as there aren't any amenities for children. The only slightly negative things we can find to say about Cruccuris is the fact that they don't do evening meals there or at least not when we were there. We did read a review on Expedia before we went that said they had started doing them in the last couple of months, but the time that we went (11th-18th Oct)they weren't available. It would have been nice to eat in once or twice. Also, when we there, the hotel was probably only half full, yet they seemed to put everyone together in the same part of the hotel. Consequently, we had noise from both sides and upstairs immediately overhead. (The walls were either quite thin or the people staying in those rooms were particularly noisy!) We will definitely be going back to Sardinia and will use Cruccuris Resort again without a doubt, although we will ask for one of the rooms away from the main building!

“Wonderful Experience”

As a couple with a young baby we found the Cruccuris resort to be all that we wanted. It had a quiet and very tranquil atmosphere. We found it very useful to have a hire car so we could visit neighbouring beaches and get food in the evening. The breakfast selection was great and the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. There was lovely hot water in the showers and the airconditioning was able to be controlled from within our villa. Overall, it was like a second honeymoon, with reaching views to the sea, cocktails and sunbaking around the pool and also a very interesting island to drive around. The surrounding beaches are lovely - Punta Molentis (just out of Villasimius)is definitely worth a visit. Go to this resort - you won't be disappointed!

“Excellent service”

We found the staff extremely helpful and efficient. One of our cases was delayed by several days & the staff were tireless in their efforts to retrieve it. Beautiful layout to the grounds, most attractive & well kept. Not the easiest of places to find in the early hours of the morning, better signing would help, but well worth finding!

“Looking for dates next year already!”

Fantastic hotel in VERY quiet countryside. Perfect for rest & relaxation. Beautiful view to sea (1km), well maintained and stocked gardens all around rooms. Two lovely pools, one with jacuzi, one on lower garden level. Plenty of sunbeds. Excellent breakfast in bar overlooking upper pool. Great lunch also available. Didn't get to local eateries, got taxi to Vaillasimius. Car essential if here more than a douple of days. Would not recommend for children as nothing for them, to do!
