“Quiet and clean in beautiful surroundings”

We went in April. The weather was about 18 - 23 and mostly sunny. It rained a couple of times, but once was overnight, so not a problem. Lots of things are shut in April in Villasimius and the surrounding beach resorts as the season doesn't start until June there. This was OK for us as we were there for the beach and to relax. Green Villas is a lovely quiet place with beautiful plants and flowers. Quite basic and small accomodation, but with everything that you'd need. The apartment had shutters that were very dark and kept our kids asleep until at least 730am! The pool was very cold in April so if you wanted a pool, the sister resort Palm Village had a warmer one that you could use. There was a good restaurant, Il Fornedu (?) just next door.

“Green Villlage Resort - Appartments - Great Holida Resort”

The appartments are obviously brand new and as such very well equipped. We had a 6 person appartment with 2 double rooms with plenty of cupboard space and a pull out double bed in the lounge. The condition and cleanliness of the apartment was excellent. The site was made up of about 12 small bungalow type apartments with a communal barbeque area which was a bonus, each bungalow had a terrace and an outside table with chairs, also equipped with washing line to dry towels and outside shower to shower off sand from the beach. There was a pool which had a shallow and a deep section to it, plus a paddling pool for the little ones. The kitchen had a fridge and plenty of cooking equipment and a hob with 4 rings. The rental includes room towels which are changed half way through the week and beach towels that you keep for the week, also included are sunbeds and umberellas on a private section of beach. You can also use the hotels sister resort pool at Palm Village. WARNING: The beach is not a short walk from the apartment but a 20 minutes dusty track walk in direct sunlight so if you have hired a car it will come in handy to get to the beach - big car park next to beach.

“a good place to relax”

green village resort is a very pleasant place. it is surrounded by very well kept gardens and plants. our studio appartment was on the first floor about 22sq m and it had a very spacious balcony with table and chairs. it was extremely confortable. I would love to go back there again.

“What a great place!”

The staff were so helpful and polite and kind, which made us warm to the place immediately. The grounds and pool were great and we were there so out of season we had the place to ourselves. The little bungalows were lovely, well maintained and very quiet. We would very much like to return and would recommend to others highly.

“Great Location - but some hidden costs”

It's a short walk from one if the nicest beaches in Villasimius and the centre of town. The pool is spacious and in a nice setting. the rooms are very basic but functional. However there were some surprise hidden costs when we arrived 100 euros deposit, 40 euros per person (not optional) to use the beach chairs, 50 euros for room cleaning - a bit steep because the room was only cleaned once during our weeks stay.

“Quiet Break, Mainly Aimed at Families”

Green Resort, Vilasimius is a gorgeous resort, set in a beautiful location quite near the beach. The facilities were basic but all was clean and compact. The balcony was a great asset and it faced on to mountain views and the pool. This resort, however, is very family orientated and not for those looking for a lively getaway!!! Luckily it's in a fairly central location to make the most of the local restaurants and bars!

“Green Village Resort”

A bit disappointed after reading the other reviews. It was not that quiet, it all depends on whether you have twenty-something Italians staying, who want to stay up talking loudly, drinking and playing cards till 3:00am! Not as bad as some English abroad I know, but still a pain. It is primarily an Italian Resort. I know that is not the fault of the Resort, but a few signs asking for consideration of noise after midnight would not go amiss. Furniture, fridge was broken, there were the very bare essentials in the kitchen, no lighter for the hob, bed was rock hard! They also removed the sunbeds and umbrellas from the designated area on the beach that you have free use of them, when people were still arriving to stay. It was the last 2 days of our holiday still to go. Seem to finish their season the last week of September, without informing you. On the up side, the location near the lovely beaches was nice, handy for the shops/restaurants and the pool was nice, they just need to improve on the other things.

“Not impressed”

I was surprised to have to pay a desposit when checking in as I was told it was for the maintenance of the swimming pool and cleaning. I did see the pool cleaned but the room was cleaned once during the whole week which I don't think is acceptable. The bedroom was described as a double mono it was very uncomfortable two very soft matresses on a double bed frame. No kettle or toaster provided and the staff were based at another nearby hotel which I found annoying. The room was clean on arrival although furnished with what looked like cheap white childrens furniture straight out of Argos. Part of the street on the way into town could do with street lamps as it was very dark at night. However this hotel with ten minutes of the town centre and close to a very beautiful beach.
