“Pleasant stay in every way.”

Great position on esplanade; close to all the things we wanted to see/do. Had a kitchenette...convenient...with a supermarket nearby. Parking adequate though not much undercover; 1st in, best dressed. Staff very cheerful and helpful.

“A Stay at the Breakaway”

Very friendly people. Our excursion was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute, and their staff helped us to arrange a new, awesome day--at the last minute--and they took care of everything. For us, it was seamless. The room was clean and pleasant. The only weird thing is the bathroom is in the center of the room, with a large glass shower. Privacy in the bathroom was possible, but you had to check the shower curtain!

nice hotel , very close to all my needs, woolworths just a short walk for better priced food items for those wishing to cook in room , rooms had cooking hot plate , toaster etc supplied , two mt walk to the ferry termminal for transfers to all outer Islands ,,lagoon pool straight out in front , great views ,very freindly staff ,

Great location overlooking the esplanade and close to the centre of town. Location was excellent.

“nice and convenience hotel”

The environment is very good, a very convenience location. I can find many delicious restaurants and night market once I left the hotel building, they are just next to the hotel entrance. suprise!!! The hotel view is wonderful, just cross along the road, I can reach the lovely beach and swimming pool - Lagoon very easily. The room is very comfortable and this is big enough for 2people to stay in, with a good living room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. they are simple but clean. I feel very relax when I stayed there....

“Comfortable Value for Money”

Staff were very friendly, beds comfortable, good amenties, fantastic location!!!! No complaints - fairly good value for money and a great base for exploring Cairns and all its attractions. If your looking for simple accomadation without spending a fortune then this place is recommended, if your looking for full luxury go five star as this hotel is basic (yet comfortable) great for families or those just looking for a base camp. Would stay there again

“Loved Breakfree Royal Harbour Stay”

Fabulous location, very friendly staff, clean rooms with comfortable bed, great views (of the ocean, lagoon and esplanade) and tiled floor throughout(which I love). Really loved our stay at Breakfree with easy walking distance to everything. We enjoyed it so much that we cut our stay short at Clifton Beach so we could come back & yes we would definitely come back. Location! Location! Location!! You don't really need a car if you stay here. Only minus they did not have a dryer in the room but it is warm enough to dry the clothes on balcony clothes horse.
