“Excellent facilities!”

I would def. recommend this hotel - beautiful setting, very close to Palm Cove touristy area but far enough away to not be bothered by noise and tourists. Beautiful pools and very well set up apartments.

Mango Lagoon Resort is a little piece of heaven tucked away in a beautiful and well kept area of Palm Cove. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet time away. 10/10 will be going back again.

Wonderful staff, particularly the Manager. This resort is just fantastic as it has all the emenities you could desire within an oasis of absolute peace and tranquillity. I can not wait to go back and I would like to think it could be my "beach house"...

“Will definately return to this Hotel”

Experience has shown me that most of the time the on line photos don't resemble the real thing. This was not the case at the Mango Lagoon Resort. The photos did not do it justice. From the moment we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place, the resort looks and feels like a five star resort in another country. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and very nicely furnished and the pools were well maintained and fitted the resort style. My wife visited the day spa and was treated to a excellant treatment from friendly staff. We will definately return and will recommend the resort to our friends.

“Love the Ambience”

The hotel and grounds were gorgeous and very colorful! The landscaping/grounds were visually delightful and the room was just sublime. The overall look and feel of the hotel and grounds was very peaceful. The price was fantastic for the value received. I wish I'd had the chance to take in the spa services and lounge in the pools for longer. However, I absolutely loved the hotel and I fully intend on going back.

“Great Deal in Palm Cove”

The hotel was lovely, and the grounds were absolutely stunning. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and a 20 or 30 minute drive into Cairns. So it WAS annoying to have to pay for a shuttle or bus to get into Cairns, but seeing the Great Barrier Reef was definitely worth it. We had a couple of problems with our room, and the reception's hours are incredibly short, but the attentive (and absolutely fabulous) manager made up for this!

The welcome and service from staff was great. Mango Lagoon was so peaceful and and serene with its beautiful gardens ; specially liked the statues dotted about the gardens. Close to the beach and little shops. Fabulous eating places , great variety . Staff really helpful organising outings and tours . They even organised a car and driver to take us to the airport for our early flight home for a minimal fee .

“I would go again.”

Hotel staff was exceptionally helpful. Willing to take time to book tours, etc. My only complaint was the need to pay extra for internet time and the need to move to the lobby to receive the wireless signal. I paid for 3 hours service and used 30 minutes at best because of the inconvenience in accessing the signal.

“Palm Cove”

lovely hotel, rooms very clean, large and comfortable, fully self contained with kitchen and laundry. Surrounding gardens beautiful. stunning pools, although the water was freezing, not able to stay in the water long despite the warm weather. Did not utilise the day spa as the prices were a little high. short walk to the beach and shops, recommend buying any grocery items in the city not in palm cove as the small supermarkets on the beach were overpriced. beach area beautiful, plenty of sun and shade.
