Great locationPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Location, washing machine
Cons: Sheets a bit rough
Location: Near reef encounters, great diving boat, near many restaurants
Loved my stay, probably because I was upgraded to a two bedroom. Loved having a washer and dryer. Terrific location near shops and restaurants and piers

Cons: Smell and staff attitude
I had just been on a boat for 2 days and the staff kinda gave me a look. The place is a bit snobbish as was the front staff. The room was fine but smelled of must or mildew. In the eve someone kept trying to get into my room and there was no peep hole so I called the front desk and he said well you must have a key to get on that floor. Well that makes it okay and safe? Then, he asked if I really wanted him to go all the way over there to check it out.

Good location but room to improvePosted May 15, 2015
Pros: Location at the Esplanade and right in among the eateries, of which there were many.
Cons: Information regarding servicing of rooms is written in tiny font on an easy-to-be-overlooked card on the table. Inform guests fully. Give options.
Location: Plenty to do. Good walking, exercising areas on Esplanade.
A good hotel is not difficult to find, but Mantra Trilogy seems to be caught in what appears to be an attempt to corner the market on accommodation, not just in Cairns, where two of their hotels stand nearly together, but from literature in the room, all across Australia. Five Mantras in Port Douglas? Size and market domination may be the goal of the company, but don't forget who rents the rooms. After the first night, we arrived back late in the day to find towels still damp as they had not been replaced. Nothing was cleaned, nor was rubbish emptied. It is the fault of policy and not the cleaning staff. We found, after a brief search, that maid service basically had to be requested and in some instances, certain aspects paid for, extra. This is not good. The room charges are sufficiently high that guests should expect a commensurate degree of service. The drain in the shower really needed a "Drano-ing" as the water built up and ran out of the shower cubicle since its floor was just about at the same level as the bathroom floor. The confusing structure on ground floor including parking, access to towers and the reception area was maze-like and took more than one trip through to master. It was very secure, however, with the key-card system of locks.

Fantastic Room & LocationPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Both the spaciousness of the room and the location were perfect. It was very safe feeling and the staff was exceptional. Pool area perfect all ages.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.... we will definitely be returning and have been raving to all family and friends.
Location: Location was perfect!!! Walking distance to all restaurants, shopping, night markets, swimming, playgrounds, and paths. Absolutely the best!!!
We just returned from our family vacation and this condo was absolutely spectacular. There were 7 of us that stayed in this unit and it was so spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony were breathe taking and we were in walking distance of everything. There were 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 toddler and there were things for all of us to do either in this facility or walking distance. The pool was perfect for the toddler and teenagers areas for both to enjoy and beautiful sitting areas for the adults. I would definitely recommend this condo to everyone. Thank you to Mantra for making our vacation the best of all time.

Poor experiencePosted Apr 5, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Not much
Cons: Remove the dual access door
Location: Location was good with the waterfront lagoon and restaurants nearby
Cramped room with dual access unit, banging doors from noisy neighbours, loud voices in the dual acces alcove during the night and general lack of amenities for an enjoyable stay.

Great locationPosted Mar 18, 2015
Cons: The corridors smelled a little musty but it was the wet season in Cairns. Replacing the carpet with tiles would solve the problem.
Location: On the Esplanade, shopping, eating, tour booking offices are right outside the door.
Stayed 4 nights, located within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, night markets, lagoon. Great pool. The room was tiny but clean and comfortable. Great value.
