“Our experience in Nomads Cairns”

We were two older couples looking for reasonable accomadation and was also done at the last minute, being primarily a backpacker place we didn't know what to expect, however when we were in our rooms we were fully satisfied with the linen cleanliness etc. We will definitely recomend it to others

“Nomads”

We very much enjoyed our time here (only 2 days) and were happy with the quality of the hotel. It would have been nice to have a more informal eating place on site which wasn't a bar. The eating places were very good, but for our taste anyway, overly formal and not simple enough. One could get simpler fare elsewhere, but they were very busy and we went to the Ghekkos restuarant, which was good but noisy and very full.

“I'll definitely be back :o)”

The hostel was great and catered to a wide range of people while I was there, older couples and young travellers alike. I overheard a girl telling andother traveller that the hostel was one of the better ones she'd stayed in across Australia. 1/2 and hour walk into town but a nice walk at that. You could book all your tours and activities right there. Cheap beer, food and a great atmosphere. What more could a holiday need :o)

“Simple hostel near the airport”

I had a private room with only a bed and unpainted walls. There was A/C and shared bathrooms down the hall. Location was very near to airport with free pickup only. You have to pay to return to the airport. It's a 30 minute walk to the center or an hourly shuttle that runs very late, but not during dinner time.

“Cheap Backpacker Hostel”

A cheap backpacker hostel, a little ways from the CBD/downtown - once an hour, hostel provide a ride to downtown. Rooms are barely fitting the bed/bunk beds, smelly carpet.
