Novotel Palm Cove

Hotel is in a very nice area not by the beach but a five minute walk. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was expensive, you can find nice breakfast places along the beach area at a lower price.

Hotel is in a good location, but lacks staff to provide good service. It gets noisy with a lot of kids at the pool where there is no time limit at night. and early morning.

The hotel looks modern and well kept upon arrival. However, that's about where it ended. We were originally given the wrong room but this was sorted quickly and without fuss. The bathroom tiles, ceiling and door all had substantial amounts of mould a lot of which only needed to be wiped off. The toilet was not cleaned and I had to clean it myself on arrival to be able to use it. None of the Foxtel,channels worked, nor did the clock radio or one of the lights in the bedroom. The outdoor setting was about 10 years overdue for replacement and the rest of the furniture could also do,with a good clean and update. If you are unlucky enough to be on the bottom floor be prepared for a lot of noise from anyone staying above. There were dirty dishes at the buffet breakfast each morning, the first day I pointed it out to staff but didn't bother after that as it did not seem to be a high priority. If it wasn't the Easter long weekend I would have not stayed more than the first night. Being a Novotel I had a certain level of expectation and was very disappointed.

after being half hour in this hotel we had to leave and look for another accomodation. worst experience ever definelly not a 4 star hoten, dirty rooms the all complex is bad mantained

Hotel slightly run down but overall it was a great family place to stay. The pools were kid friendly. Disappointed that we had to hire a babysitter for our 3 yr old as kids club was only for 4+ kids. Also disappointed that resort shop was permantly closed, meant we had to walk into town to get basic groceries like bread

The website pictures I would guess are somewhat very dated. "Pay TV" having 1 pay tv channel (there could have been more but they didnt work in our room) is not "cable TV" in every room.The "Movie" channel as advertised didn't work, there was little shading in the main pool area, house keeping only made the bed, no other room service was provided

We visited with two friends. The room they were allocated was set up for a disabled person - so great for those travelling who may have different needs, but this was not so great for them. That said, the Novotel upgraded their room immediately which was a good resolution. The staff were friendly and really helpful. The hotel overall could do with a spruce up, but it was comfortable and provided everything we needed.

Very nice facilities, Great location just need more staff. Perhaps we were at the tail end of the season but still a few more staff to handle the breakfast rush would be nice.

Their service from all staff was excellent. We would definitely stay there again!
