“Park Regis business accommodation”

Good quality hotel in handy location Cairns City and local attractions

“Good staff and room, bad location”

The hotel is next to a bar and restaurant. We were awakaned each night by those who had too much to drink, as well asa trash truck emptying containers of glass bottles at 3AM. There also seemed to be some work done in the area very early in the morning (5AM). All rooms face the once narrow alley from where the noise eminate and there is no choice of switching to another side. Although the room itself and the staff were very fine, we would never stay there again because we value the few precious sleep hours at night. If that is not a concern for you, we recommend the place.

“Very disappointing !”

First impression was- Are we at the right place??? Room was different to photo- alright for a couple of kids- maybe. Things like "shot" shower door- dirty and marked walls- next door shared balcony and their aircon vibrated disgustingly.- echoes through building- no jamb buffers on doors. "Self contained" was a misnomer.- Next time we will be asking for floor area prior to booking !!!!!
