“Would stay again. Great hotel.”

A very nice, quiet and classy 5 star hotel, just off the Esplanade. The rooms were large, modern and clean. Nice pool and they have self laundry facilities as well...a must in hot and humid Cairns. We didn't use their restaurants, but there are dozens within a few blocks. We had the concierge rent a car for us and that was also no hassles. Would definitely recommend it or stay there again.

“Solid 4 Star Hotel”

First off, the hotel is in a great location and there is no need for a rental car. If you can't walk to where you are going they have the city bus which is two blocks from the hotel. The only negative about the hotel is the price of the meals but all hotels are expensive to eat at. Speaking of expensive, you better start saving now because I have never seen anything like it! Quite honestly, Cairns is nice and it's our first time to Australia but we would probably go to Sydney if I had it to do all over again. The Great Barrier Reef trips are pretty cool but once again you are going just to say you've either dove or snorkeled on the GBR. The local zoo is great for young children, and if you like pizza and kebobs this is the place. All in all, a good experience and a nice hotel.

“Great Location and Service”

Liked our stay at this hotel. The building and rooms are maintained well. Very clean. Friendly staff. We arrived early and our room was not ready, but the staff was very helpful in expediting the cleaning of the room and storing our luggage during the wait time. We used the wait time to explore the surrounding area. There is a nice breakfast cafe right next to hotel, casino across the road, lots of shops within a block, grocery store in 2 blocks. Within walking distance from the boardwalk with restaurants overlooking water, Esplanade with more restaurants and shops, and a city park with a swimming pool and picknick areas. The hotel also has a restaurant on the first floor for convenience of the guests. One downside for me was no complimentary internet. To use internet in hotel, would need to buy a password. Can buy in increments of 0.5 hour, 1 hours, 24 hours. As alternative, there are various shops in the area that offer internet service a bit cheaper than hotel.

“Breathtaking”

The hotel had great service and was nice. Location is wonderful, a few blocks away from where the boats leave for the Barrier Reef...which is the real beauty of the whole region! Absolutely breathtaking!

“Great Stay”

This hotel is found across from the Cairns Casino with easy access to the Cairns wharf, a jumping-off point to many reef adventures. The staff were welcoming and accomodating. Pool facilities were beautifully enhanced by surrounding gardens. Good food consistantly priced with with other good Cairns restaurants. A great place to stay but not priced for backpackers.

“Great for Diving”

Our purpose of traveling to Australia was to dive on the Great Barrier Reef. We could not have picked a better hotel. The staff was friendly (actually everyone in Australia was unbelievably nice!), the rooms were excellent. The food was great too! Just a warning, everything is very expensive, but that is just in general in Australia.
