“Great place to stay in Cairns!”

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rainbow Inn. It was nice to have a chat to the friendly and helpful staff who we came across regularly throughout our stay (unlike large hotels with hundreds of rooms where there is no personal touch). We drank at the cosy bar where we chatted to the staff and regulars and ate at the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We also ordered room service breakfast on one occasion and it was delivered hot and tasty and right on time. A highlight is the beautiful swimming pool and spa, very clean and well maintained with beautiful surrounds. Our room was serviced daily and had a great balcony with a view of the pool, bar and restaurant. The room was a good size, quite spacious with plenty of room to move around and to store luggage. It is a budget priced hotel but has everything here that you will need including a guest laundry. I wouldn't hesitate in booking to stay here again and would highly recommend it for families and couples.

“economic and you can see it”

It was very simple and old, although quite comfortable. The room very not perfectly clean. It is quite central and it is economic, so it can be good for one night staying but no more than this.
