“Awesome trip”

The hotel was first class, the staff friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The rooms were well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The teenagers in our family loved it and enjoyed the amenities and location to the beach and small shops. We found it a great location for the surrounding area and convenient to travel around from Trinity Beach.

“Great location, spacious apartments & friendly service”

Very spacious and well appointed apartments overlooking Trinity Beach just across the road. Fairly priced for the quality of the accommodation which being self catering gives much more freedom and flexibility than a hotel. Trinity Beach seems a less commercial and more residential community than some of its neighbouring resorts and is within easy reach of most of the sights around Cairns and less than an hour to Port Douglas by car. A perfectly tranquil and luxurious base from which to explore. Very friendly and helpful management made this a pleasant experience throughout.

“Well worth it”

Really enjoyed our stay at Sea Change. Location and hotel were excellent. We were lucky to be upgraded to a bigger apartment than we had booked, and enjoyed the huge patio area that came with that, but our assessment was that all the rooms would be pretty comfortable. Comparing the other hotels on the beachfront on our walks, we definitely think we made the right choice. Right across the road from the lovely uncrowded beach, great view from the room and very good facilities made for a very enjoyable week.

“Fantastic Experience”

Given the reviews I had read about this place, I had high expectations and I am pleased to say that I was not disappointed! The apartment was modern, spacious and comfortable. Even from the ground floor I could see the beach when I looked out the window. The location is fantastic - directly across the road from the beach and a quiet spot but only a short stroll to restaurants. I would definitely go back and stay there again and would recommend this place to anyone wanting a 5 start experience.

“Fantastic, friendly and fullfilling.”

What a fantastic place. Our 2 bedroom ensuite apartment was huge, well equipped and very clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything from coffee makers to juicers and rice cookers. The location was quiet and very picturesque. The staff were very helpful andf friendly. Only a 20 minute drive to Cairns Central and well located for the Skytrain and Port Douglas. There were very good eating and shopping facilities within a few minutes walk. Recommend having your own or a hire car. Expedia deal for accommodation and car hire was very economical considering what you get for your dollar. We loved every bit of our stay at Trinity Beach and thank you Sea Change for our well earned short break. Loved it.

“Pool and Hottub not heated”

Just a warning note, the pool and hot tub are solar heated. If you plan to take a dip in the early, winter, morning, it is a tad bit on the chilly side. Otherwise I loved the hotel and its location is fabulous.

“Great Barrier Reef Superior accommodation”

Extremely satisfied with accommodations! Large apartment with free upgrade to include the rooftop outdoor patio with lounge chairs and BBQ. Beautiful hotel, nice heated pool, helpful staff, great tours with pickup right in front of the hotel, direct oceanfront access to Trinity Beach, and excellent gourmet restaurants within walking distance.

“Seachange exemplifies its Name”

What a wonderful haven we found at the Seachange Apartments set in the idyllic Trinity Beach FNQ. We were warmly welcomed by the managers and shown to and through our beautifully appointed 3 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor overlooking the beach. We couldn’t have felt further removed from the daily grind at work. The sun was warm, the breeze was cool and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach was exactly what was required to unwind. In my opinion the Seachange Apartments are visually the most beautiful and unique resort on the strip – some apartments had courtyards, others large balconies, others had direct access to the pool – all with outdoor ceiling fans which created a wonderful calming ambience. The pool area was sublime and we always found a deck chair complete with padded cushions. The Managers recommended tried and tested tours to us and as a result we sailed to the outer reef and enjoyed snorkelling and viewing the reef via a semi-submersible boat. We also enjoyed the trip on the Kuranda Railway up to the Atherton tablelands. Seachange was also able to provide us with a car to drive up to Pt Douglas which is only about an hour up the road. This made the whole “car hire” business easily accessible. We will be returning to Trinity Beach and the Seachange Apartments as soon as we can and I’d highly recommend this accommodation to anyone considering a trip to FNQ.

“beautiful one day perfect the next”

We had 14 days of 30 degree sunshine and gentle sea breezes in late sept 2011 with a 9 and 14 yr old children trinity beach was a great base to relax and unwind with quality resturants all within walking distance. Trinity beach is less built up than Palm cove and hence less crowded but central to get the most of the whole area. Sea change pool was great and even big enough for 20m lap swimming. The rooms were much larger than the photos show with high quality inclusions in kitchens, including expresso maker . King size bed was awesome and ducted air through out and also with additonal room air conditioners, although we really didnt need it with the sea breeze and our private al fresco balony to sit back on and enjoy the serentity. Car hire on site was very convenient for a day trip to port douglas - one of the best coast drives in the world. Make sure you also visit Cap trib and the daintree river criuse, mosman gorge, take the kurnanda rail and skyway. Also good was the reef trip from pt douglas out to agincourt reefs and hartleys croc farm.

“Amazing experience!!”

this hotel was such a great deal! We had a 3 bedroom condo as there were 6 of us and we had a massive patio with dining table and bistro set and lounge chairs - it was HUGE! And the pool was beautiful in the hotel & the service was fabulous. I could have stayed way longer. The hotel is right across from a beautiful beach and some fabulous restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The airport is not far away (20 min) Be aware that the hotel is not right in Cairns - it's about 30-40min away driving. We loved this, but depends what you want. We hired a car, so drove into Cairns to do the reef trip & stayed at Trinity Beach area the rest of the time. There were some great restaurants - try Blue Moon lagoon and the Italian on the corner of the main road. All great!!!
