“Hats, Tatts and No Brats!!!”

Gardens were beautifully maintained and great to have a number of pools to choose from. I think we swam in them all. Location was not far from Cairns CBD. I left my phone charger at home and the staff jumped straight to it to find one that suited my phone. veryone was polite and receptive at any time of the day. Our trip was named "Hats, Tatts and No Brats". We certainly got good value for our money - we did the weekend trip on the spur of the moment without costing too much. I would love to take my partner to The Lakes - the kids can stay at home! Please extend our thanks to the staff there - they were great. Back to reality!

This hotel was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The service was excellent. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. We didn't want to leave.

As our room was not ready when we arrived we went to restaurant for some lunch ,very friendly staff.When we got our keys surprised to find luggage already there, and absolutely delighted with the apartment.Everything looked brand new and immaculate,and tastefully decorated.The grounds and gardens beautifully kept and pools lovely.Definately the best hotel we stayed in on our fabulous 3week holiday in Australia.They even gave us free transfer to the Airport as we had booked for more than 3 nights, Good choice!

Staff are very friendly, apartments are extremely well kept as are the grounds. Pools are fabulous.

“Grest resort”

I would recommend this resort as a great couple or family get away. Very well run, comfortable beds and rooms, great staff, nice pools. Quite far from town tho, but we like to walk, and they also offer a paid shuttle service.

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Lakes. The people were very nice. The whole atmosphere was breathtaking. The rooms were great. The hotel was away from the downtown, but they offered a shuttle to the city that dropped you off and picked you up. Some of the tour buses picked you up at the resort too. Can't wait to go back!!

Had a fantastic time. Stay at The Lakes Cairns Resort & Spa for 10 nights & it was truly amazing. Great pools, helpful staff & the rooms were just superb. Would love to go back again in the future.

“very nice hotel”

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, Our appartment was clean and comfortable, just a few minor issues such as saggy sofa in living room, noisy air-conditioning in bedroom. But on the whole is was a good place to stay. Previous reviewers have mentioned air craft noise. It was true that you could hear planes occasionally as they take off and turn out to sea but this is not happening constantly. Would definitely go back.
