“For convenience”
This hotel is conveniently located.About 5-10 minutes walk to the museum. It is located in a busy junction in Caior. We had a nice Nile facing room. The staff were extremely nice and the breakfast had a good spread. Always buy water , snacks from local shops which are located near the entrance-cheaper than the in the hotel.the conceirge were very friendly.Small mall opposite the hotel and has a Mcdonalds(handy if you have children)
“Good all round experience”
First time in Ramses Hilton but latest of many times in Cairo. Impressed with the hotel. Speed and politeness of check in, overall general attitude of staff throughout the hotel - polite, helpful without being overbearing. Excellent breakfast and the food in the only in house restaurant I tried, the Indian, was superb. Upon check out was surprised to find EGP 230 phone call, apparently made to a local Vodaphone cell phone. It was removed after I disputed it but this took time which is precious when wanting to get to the airport in morning rush hour! Anyway it was resolved politely and I have no real complaint. Location excellent and very easy to get hotel car, white taxi or local taxi with help of bell hop - customers choice and hotel cars are not unduly pushed. Will certainly stay again.
“Ramses Hilton”
The Ramses Hilton plays second fiddle to the newer Nile Hilton nearby but is still one of the best hotels in Cairo. It's located on the banks of the nile right next to the Egyption Museum, bus station and main subway terminal. It has a selection of restaurants, a nice pool and superb views from the top floor (I believe it's actually the tallest building in Cairo!). Would recommend for anyone seeking a hotel in Cairo, however if you can afford it then go for the Nile Hilton instead!
“Would recommend.”
The hotel was very clean. The food was great. Staff very helpful and it was a great location for all the sights. Great view of the Nile from our room.
“Well located for all Cairo has to offer.”
This is a great hotel with friendly staff. Some of the inhouse facility prices were too high e.g. Hair Cut or Breakfast. Room Service was reasonable and good. Local shops outside the hotel are very cheap for basic stuff like water.
“Ramses Hilton Hotel”
Hotel was good and in a good location. Beware of traffic, they do not stop for red lights or crossings.
“very good location”
the hotel is located in the best place for tourists who planned to look around in Cairo within 2/3 days. in front of Egyptian Museum and not very far from Pyramids ( actually i could see shadows of pyramids ) from room ! the Indian resturant is amazing as well as their breakfast. it's worth to pay more to get a Nile view room !
“Very good; well located.”
Very close to the Cairo Museum (200m). Hotel has five restrauants within it, each offering a different style of cuisine and entertainment.
“Down town best hotel”
if you compare the prices and the location with other hotels so you will choose this one.
“no safety box”
i had a delux king room , but it had no safetybox, that was shocking to me. Also, the hotel is located in really downtown and i was in the 3ed floor and it was really noisy. other than that the hotel is ok.
