A very clean and quiet hotel in a noisy city

A clean, quiet and welcoming hotel with an excellent breakfast buffé. The breakfast buffé was truly amazing! Very good and efficient service too. I'd love to stay there again on my next Cairo visit.

Impeccable service, wonderful food.

Pros: A true respite in a very busy, very intense city. Lovely pool and exercise facilities.
Location: For my partner and I the location was not ideal. We like to walk everywhere and the hotel is a little too far from the centre of things.
The Conrad Cairo is everything a five-star hotel should be. The focus is on service and they certainly deliver. We used the executive lounge (it does cost extra but is certainly worth it) and it was a welcome stop after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are very well appointed with interesting (and good) lithos of Egyptian life - past and present. Bathroom luxuries abound; from the towels to to the toiletries. The staff was above reproach; truly gracious and helpful in every way. And the food - the breakfast buffet was astonishing, both in variety and quality.

City break

The Conrad is a perfectly decent hotel. The pool and breakfast area were specifically nice. Whilst it is in the city centre, the location is a little inconvenient... I would not have walked anywhere from the hotel and ended up taking a lot of taxis.

Price of hotel was reasonable from Expedia

Pros: Our room was very neat and cleaned everyday. Hotel staff was good.
Cons: internet in rooms should ve free of charge
Staff in the hotel was kind and very nice. Our room was taken care of everyday and cleaned nicely. Sitting in balkony at night and watching Nile and Kairo was a great experience for us.

Executive Lounge was awesome

The best part about this hotel was the exclusive access to the Executive Lounge. At the executive lounge you get free drinks and snacks all day. Also, there is a happy hour from 5:30-7:00, when you can get free alcoholic beverages. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel was far from the sites and the airport. Another negative about this hotel was the food wasn't great, considering it is a 5 star hotel. The best restaurant was the one that served Asian food. The breakfast was pretty good.
