“A Good Place to Base Yourself nearthe Airport”

I stayed in the older Heliopolis as opposed to the newer "Towers", however the two properties are interconnected and offers a wide choice of dining, entertainment and other facilities to the guests of either. It's a great place for a business traveller not inclined to wander to much after the days work... & the internet was free

The hotel is wonderful. We stayed 5 nights there and will certainly stay there again. Only a couple of things to note and that the use of the internet is very expensive and also it would be very nice it the people who work in the restaurant where we had breakfast every morning could speak english. Some could and some couldn't...very important!!!

“Excellent if you want to stay near the airport”

This hotel is modern, upscale and HUGE - if that's what you like in a hotel, you'll like this. And it is also close to the airport, which is why I chose to stay there. If you're looking for a downtown Cairo experience this is NOT the place to stay, but if you want an excellent business hotel with all of the amenities and a huge variety of wonderful restaurants, go for it.

“Ideal airport hotel for overnight stop”

Very convenient - Courtesy transportation from airport was ideal - hotel rep at stairs as we passed through customs and hotel kiosk is near airport exit doors if rep not present. Hotel rooms were clean and a good size. Also free courtesy bus to departure, timing of which was checked by reception to ensure we were at airport for check in time. Wish we had longer there to enjoy the facilities.

This is a good hotel near the airport. Room was average, but restaurants and breakfast buffet were superior. Not much you can walk to.....like nothing...but taxis and drivers are pretty cheap. Good choice in the area.

“An Oasis away from noise and chaos”

I spent three wonderful nights at the Fairmont Heliopolis and my daughter at the adjacent Fairmont Towers. Both of us loved our experiences and all the hotel amenities especially the pool area where the staff was very helpful and extremely courteous. It is a true escape from the noise and traffic in Cairo. The hotel is a welcome respite after spending a long day of sightseeing.

Pleasant, staff were great and helpful and have allowed early check in and late check out. Have really considered the traveler needs.
