“Top quality service”

The staff is what took this hotel over the top. They were gracious and helpful. The 2 bedroom suite was outstanding. We had more room than we needed. You can comfortably stay there for months if needed. We felt safe and well cared for!

“Very spacious for a family”

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Our family room was more of an apartment, two bedrooms,dining/lounge,kitchen, two bathrooms. Not far from a small shopping mall, good for eating. Hotel food reasonably priced, had room service several times. Felt very safe walking around.

“Very Happy”

The hotel staff was great...they were very helpful to my husband checking in and comeing back to the airport to meet my flight. They never failed to go out of their way to help us with whatever we asked. The decor was a little dated...especially the bathrooms...but not worn or dirty. Booked a king room and joked at check in about getting a upgrade and got it. 2 1/2 bath, 3 bedroom suite. Other reviews are dead on...taxi drivers have problems finding it so telling them the Conrad (just around the corner) makes it simple. Room service was good, pretty basic, always quick and hot. Overall great place to stay.

“Very nice”

I was a bit hesitant when I made reservations at this Hilton due to some of the reviews here and on other travel sites, but I should know by now that some travelers can never be pleased. From the moment I arrived til the moment I checked out, everything was great. I had reserved a king-room, but was upgraded to a 3 BD, 3 BA suite that included a full kitchen (fully stocked with dishes, etc.). I was alone, so I didn't really need all the space, but it was like being at home! While the building may not be newly built, everything was in great condition. The furniture was in very nice condition, though not new, and everything was spotless. I slept in the king-size bed and it was so comfortable! The TV channel selection was limited, but who wants to watch much TV when they are in Cairo! I only went to the restaurant once, and while the menu was limited, the food I ordered was quite good--but I prefer to eat at local restaurants anyway. The restaurant was very clean, but a little on the small side. This was my 6th trip to Cairo and I will probably stay at this hotel every time I go back. The worst thing I can say is the location of the entrance. This Hilton is next door to another well-known hotel, but the entrance is on the street behind. Once you find it, just remember to carry the address with you to show the drivers and you may have to help them find it. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone....especially families

“Maybe not what you expect, but spacious with nice people”

First, please keep in mind that this is Egypt, and that unless you want to spend the money for the Four Seasons or the Conrad, it's really not like an American hotel. It's a residence owned by the WTC, run under the Hilton name. The suite we had was a 3br 2.5ba with white down comforters and Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. It was clean, huge, comfortable, and the view was awesome from the 29th floor, when it wasn't smoggy. But the smog isn't the hotel's fault. The people there are also very nice, helpful, don't ask for tips everytime they see you (which is a HUGE relief!), and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. About the wireless- I don't think it has any, but seriously, it's Egypt, they don't do wireless or computers or telephones or technology well anyway. And if you're on vacation, what are you doing on a computer?? But they are more than happy to tell you to go next door to the Conrad where you can access it from their business center. Also, do NOT tell a cab driver that you want to go to the Conrad! We did after we'd negotiated a price and they suddenly said "Oh, Conrad, price is now 3x what we negotiatied". If you stick to your guns they usually will back down or you can get out and get a new cab. What you want to tell the cab driver is that you want to go to the Bank Misr on Corniche El Nil. If they say "oh, Conrad", then tell then no, NEXT to the Conrad. They'll be less likely to rip you off as a tourist.

“Good value for money”

Very nice hotel centrally located. Staff was very nice and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite. The suite was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was also very nice and had a huge variety.

“Very impressed with service.”

The service was excellent in the lobby, at the desk, and in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and they upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom apt. with full kitchen at no charge to us. We had a view of the Nile from our balcony. The bed was very comfortable with down comforter. The hotel is in an older area of town and the surrounding neighborhood appeared to be impoverished, but security was provided so we felt safe.
