Great location facing NilePosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The view is fantastic, the location great, the service generally courteous.
Cons: small window in twin room does not make full use of the Nile view. Same limited view from restaurants
Location: Great location. Museum is nearby and easy to get to downtown.

The place to stay in CairoPosted Jun 28, 2014
Location: Walking distance of the Museum of Antiquities and the Opera House. Easy access to the Giza Pyramids.
Everything about this hotel is very good to excellent. Fabulous rooms. Do get a Nile view. We used their meet and greet with limo from airport and were in our room in less than an hour of landing.(OK it was 2am ). Staff faultless. Restaurants/food top class. The roof pool area has wonderful views of the city and the Nile. We're seasoned travellers in our late sixties and have been around the block many times used to 5 star treatment and this hotel does not disappoint.

Excellent Nile view.Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: The room had an excellent view of the Nile, the balcony was an added bonus. The free movies on demand and free soft drinks, coffee and tea was great.
Cons: The add said the Double Delux King bed rooms had a jetted bathtub and rainfall shower. There were no jets in the bathtub. So the add should be updated
Location: The location is excellent, close to downtown in the quiet neighborhood of Garden City and clost to Zamalek.
The hotel staff provided excellent service, were friendly and helpfull. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have experienced in a long time. High quality Egyptian sheets, I felt like a queen. The breakfast buffet was excellent too.

5 star Greatness!!!!!Posted May 18, 2014
To all those worried to go to Egypt... There's nothing to worry about it's safe!!! I'm a 34 yr old Canadian woman and I was just in Egypt. I was in Alexsandria from May 6-14. Then I was in Cairo from May 14-17. While in Cario we stayed at the Kempinski Hotel and my husband and I loved loved loved it!!!! From the safe feeling of the hotel, to the beautiful/upscale decor, and the amazing comfortable bed and pillows (which I want to know where to buy). Everything you need or want they have for you! The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful everyday of our stay. The location of the hotel is super good!! Nile boat yours right in front of the hotel, Cario museum walking distance is like 10mins, an so much more all in walking distance. If you go get yourself a Nile view room with a balcony and a high floor!!!! So worth the extra ;) there are soooo many more wonderful and great things I could say about this hotel....like the room service was very good and yummy, the mini bar was always restocked, and the bathroom is very nicely clean. Too many good things to write. But if I did it would take all day! Best thing u can do is go check this hotel out for yourself!!! Than you ll agree it's an amazingly wonderful 5 star hotel! I did my re search and it all paid off with this hotel!!!!

Bad Hotel away from the NilePosted May 12, 2014
Cons: Too much to list
Location: The best thing about the location is that it is close to the much better Grand Nile Towers and Four Seasons Hotel
This supposedly a 5 star hotel on the Nile; is actually one street away from the Nile, has terrible lobby, the rooms are not looking over the Nile, and my overall experience was disappointing

Friendly, luxury hotel in downtown CairoPosted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: The food, service, rooms.
Cons: Perhaps a bigger swimming pool.
Location: The Cairo Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and the Coptic Museum.
I had a wonderful 3 nights at the Kempinski. The service was excellent. The food was wonderful. Despite the fact that I am a vegetarian, there were really tasty and unusual dishes on offer. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Lovely hotel shame some of the staff let it downPosted Apr 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very modern and clean hotel, amazing rooftop pool, room was great and had free on demand movies in most languages. The wifi worked perfectly (a rare treat in Egypt) but the hotel was let down by the reception staff constantly ripping you off! We asked where we could easily hail a taxi and the guy went out and got one 'negotiating' a rate of 50 LE (when the metered taxi on the way back was 7.50 LE and much nicer). Don't trust the staff for recommendations or help because it's always 10x the price of doing it yourself.
