Great staff. Fantastic location very near to pyramids. Only concern was a party the hotel threw in the gardens the night before we left. Couldn't sleep, but they did agree to give us another room for the night to sleep in, which was good. Great time to visit the pyramids. Hardly any tourists but this has tended to make the hassle from the locals more aggressive. Bear this in mind. I took my 12 yr old daughter and we were fine; just keep your wits about you! Would recommend dinner in the floating restaurant on the Nile ... nice. Would definitely recommend hotel

Just a OK hotel! No more than that!

Pros: location
Cons: reception
Location: The best aspect of this hotel.
I was fairly happy with the overall condition of the hotel, but I believe if the hotel was in another country, definitely it was not be given five stairs, it would be three or four, but it was ok...just ok.

Relaxed hotel with great views
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Gym, big and open til late
Cons: Can get noisy at pool
Location: Fantastic views of the pyramids. Only 20 mins from centre Cairo.
Stayed at this hotel twice in the one trip. Very good hotel for price. Bad smell in initial room, were upgraded straight away. Right on top of pyramids, overlook swimming pool. Pool big but can get noisy with kids. Gym excellent - big, well equipped and maintained. Food ok but better to eat at mena house. Would stay here again.

A safe, comfortable hotel & spa. Great staff.

Pros: The pool & spa were brilliant.
Cons: Not having a jug to make my own cup of coffee.
Location: Perfect location to see pyramids.
I was very impressed by the reception staff, organizers of tours & vehicles & all the hotel & cafe staff. I was surprised how they ensured I was safe in my travels & organized a female guide to ensure I was well informed but comfortable. The food was nice, although the buffet breakfast was expensive. The pool was divine as were the spa facilities. They provided me with a choice of rooms and I selected a balcony room with a Pyramid view. Everything was well maintained and clean. Thank you to the staff.

Cairo Hotel
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: without doubt the Gym facilities .
Cons: Attitude of the staff
Location: it's close to the pyramids , but a long way away from downtown Cairo . Not recommended if one spends a lot of time in cairo town
The first impression I got of the hotel was, it looked more like a 3-4 star hotel with 5 star facilities. On our late night arrival ( BA lands in Cairo if no delays at 23:45, and then there is a long taxi ride to the hotel) we were greeted and checked in without any explanation on what's included and not . The room we book was a Royal Delux category , which had internet and other amenities included. The actual room was clearly not ready and didn't feel fresh . I complained the next day and got a different room, which was nicely prepared just as one would expect . The spa and Gym is very nice , but the attitude and friendliness of the stuff could be better . All in all it's been a nice stay , but I don't think I would necessarily go back there .

Hotel itself was fabulous. Cairo airport was terrifying!! The taxi ride was terrifying, bc driver didn't know where the pyramids were? He spoke no English. I recommend you tell people ONLY BOOK YOUR RIDE TO AND FROM AIRPORT WITH HOTEL ARRANGED DRIVERS,!!!!
