“Excellant Hotel”

Although we had read that this hotel was on the "wrong side" of the Nile, we love to walk a city. The walk across the bridge to the Egyptian Museum took only 15 minutes and took us past a beautiful park and allowed us to get an initial feel for the city. The hotel is still being renovated but only on the lower floors did we encounter any signs of workmen or noise(which was kept to a minimum). The rooms (we had Club Rooms) were very clean, very comfotable and the views from our balconies were sectacular. To the right - the Pyramids at Giza and to the left - the Nile spreading south with the island of Zamalak right next door. We found the hotel ideally situated for our days on the go to Saqqara, Memphis and Giza as well as Old Cairo and the Citadel area. Thank you to the staff at the hotel for a wonderful stay. We would definately stay again.

“I would stay here again in a minute”

The staff were friendly and caring, I have never been treated better anywhere in the world. My room was clean, pleasant and comfortable. The food was good & plentiful and reasonably priced, the concierge was able to help me with absolutely every odd request I had, the drivers I hired through the hotel were excellent. I especially enjoyed the bellydancing and live entertainment in the Moroccan restaurant upstairs and the weddings with live music that were held in the hotel!

“The RIGHT hotel on the 'WRONG' side of the NILE”

A truly great hotel experience. Great views from terrace, the Nile flowing just below. The one negative is the too costly breakfast.

The administration and staff made me feel great! Location is a must plus. Within 7 min. Walk distance to the Opera House of Cairo, and 15 min. walk distance to the Faboulos Egyptian Museum. On site Travel agency , with corteous personal willing to make your tours as pleasant as can be. The hotel also has two Money Exchange and Bank facilities.as well as shops, lounge, bars, restaurants,gym and pool. I had a great time.

Imagine arriving from a long night flight, expecting to have to wait until 2:00 to check in, but SURPRISE! 30 minutes later, a room is ready...Imagine fresh fruit and bottled water daily...A large, light, lovely room..Balcony overlooking the Nile..Immaculate housekeeping... Warm and Friendly staff helping foreign travelers find anything they need..We were treated like family...The most gracious hospitality and service on our month-long trip..

“Pretty Good Hotel”

The room we received was recently upgraded. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked the Nile River. I recommend paying a little extra and getting the Club Room (you get a personal butler and afternoon snack time!). The hotel had a good selection of restaurants to choose from (Italian, Japanese, sandwiches, etc.) which made it nice on the nights we came back too tired to go out to eat. The daily breakfast was OK (nothing to write home about) and it was a little disappointing to have to pay for Internet access. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would pick this hotel again.

“Great Location”

Hotel has an amazing location sitting on the Nile. Sunrise breakfast on the patio was breathtaking! Location is perfect, close to everything. Staff was welcoming and did everything to make my stay fantastic.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a great view of the Nile River from our room. Our children loved the outdoor pool and the variety of restaraunts in the hotel.

“Lovely hoel and staff.”

From the moment we got there, the staff could'nt do enough to help us. There was free beer/wine and snacks every evening in the executive area. Also free internet in that area all day and night, very handy as the wifi charge in the room was steep enough. Breakfasy really nice, a big selection, very fresh.Room was lovely, very big and comfortable,great TV selection,lots of movie channels. Would definately recommend this hotel.
