“Great to stay for Calabasas Classic”

Friendly and accommodating check-in. We came for one night to participate in the Calabasas Classic. Did not expect nice full breakfast, complete with make your own waffles. HUGE room, plenty of space in room and bathroom area. My daughter loved the pool - even though the weather was chilly and someone immediately came out with pool towels! Nice fresh linens with duvet covers, plenty of towels for all of us. So, the carpets and wallpaper in the hallways could use a little attention but overall, this was a great value and a very pleasant stay.

“Good value.”

Room was spacious and clean. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was better than expected. The only negative I could find was that the parking spaces were a little too small for a minivan. The room rate was a very good value as compared to other properties in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

Dining

La Paz Mexican Seafood Restaurant is only a few minutes away and the food is superb.

“Broken Air Conditioner”

I knew the location of the hotel ahead of time (it backs up to the 101 but is a reasonable price for Calabasas). The room was fine and the Internet was very fast for a hotel. The desk staff was very cordial, but I noted a sign that said the water was out for maintenance from 2-6p. It was approximately 4p. They indicated it was out and the part had just arrived. They mentioned nothing about the air conditioner being out. My room was approximately 85 degrees on arrival. The desk when I called agreed the air was out in the hotel as well. I went to dinner and when I got back--still broken. Because I'd booked on this site, although the hotel was agreeable to giving my money back (at least the night crew), I've yet to convince the website of that. I booked other accommodations at my own expense. When I called the next afternoon, I was told the air conditioning was still out, and I did not return.

“Nice place, good location”

This property is located on a street with many local restaurants. Just across the street is a large outdoor mall with a movie theater, restaurants and grocery store. The hotel itself serves a decent hot breakfast. The rooms are clean and there is a small fitness center. The pool and hot tub are adequate. The front desk staff is helpful. Overall, a good place at a fair price.

“Can't wait to go back”

After a long drive to Calabasas, CA. I had a wonderful stay. I was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The room was very clean and I love that they use white bedspreads (comforters). The room was a good size and I didn't feel like I was tripping over things to get around. There was a nice breakfast waiting for me the next morning, Very Nice... Thank you

“Good location.”

This was a little older/dated/worn than some of the others we have stayed, but service was good and it was clean and comfortable.

Area recommendations

The area just steps from the hotel was diverse for shopping, the setting was enjoyable, the area was safe.

Dining

Leila's (706 Lindero, Oak Park, CA 91377) was a 20-minute drive, but worth it. Excellent & service and ambiance. Kings Restaurant was closer in proximity - walking distance from the hotel was more casual and noisy, but good food.
