“Was never "wowed"”

The plantation was very nice and the security guards were very friendly and helpful and the check in staff was kind. Their service was prompt. The room was exactly what I had expected but there were two instances that left me on a bad note. The first was when I was packing up to check out. I began packing up a few hours early so that I could start my trip early and a maid tried coming into the room to clean. I felt rushed and found it very rude. The second instance was when I discovered hairballs in the jet tub, which was quite disgusting. However, overall the room was on par with what I had been expecting.

This was my 2nd stay. Can't beat the price. Swinning pools were nice, golf course was excellent. Great deal on golf after 1p The one thing I would have liked to have had was WIFI. Some things are hard to live without. Other than that everything was great.

“Brunswick Plantation”

We arrived early at 1:00pm in hopes that our room would be ready to checkin as we had some place to be at 4, which would have given us plenty of time to get ready. Rooms were not ready until after the 3pm checkin time which made us late to our appointment. There were constantly people at the front desk complaining about various issues. The "resort" staff were not very customer oriented. I heard them using gruff tone with customers and arguing with customers. I had them get huffy with me when I attempted to get clean towels. They ran out of clean towels on one day. It was not a pleasant stay and not very accomodating. The staff could certainly use classes on customer service. Another issue was security. I felt really comfortable as this was a gated community, however, we had an incident two nights in a row with unrully, drunk neighbors. It took security over one hour to respond. Overall, this place was not on the top of my list. I do not know if I would stay here in the future or recommend this place to anyone.

“Best Kept Secret in Myrtle Beach - Highly recommend”

As experienced travelers we like a quiet location with great access to the things we want to see. This is our top choice. Nice condos, great staff, clean, golf course setting, access to golf course restaurants, and $25/day golfing! Lightly attended white sand beaches 15 min away. We liked the beaches better than the dozen we tried on our Puerto Rico vacation the month earlier. We had a great relaxing time for the whole family.
