The Hotel, staff cleanliness and ambiance is excellent. We stayed here 23rd March for 3 weeks Used the pool every morning which was heated and was cleaned every day and towels were provided. The Hotel even provided towels to go to the beach free of charge The rooms ( we stayed in junior are excellent) very spacious. The Hotel is only a short 10 mins walk to the quiet and clean side of Calangute beach. Definitely stay here again.

Shanti Morada is located four kilometers from Calangute beach and in an enclave away from the hustle and bustle of the Goa beaches and highways. It is a large villa turned into a hotel and has an old Goa historic charm to it. We were received with a traditional Indian welcome to the hotel. This place is very different from traditional hotel chains and we have never experienced the level of personal attention that we received here anywhere else.
Rooms : The room decor is based on different themes from flowers and spices to Bollywood. Our room was well lit, clean, spacious and a few feet away from the pool. The bathroom had a large tub and a separate shower.
Leisure and activities : You can spend your time in the pool or lounge about on the chairs around the pool. The pool isn't an Olympic sized one but that didn't matter as we never found it crowded. There are a couple of lounges around the villa where you can read or relax in peace. We spent one of the afternoons lazying on hammocks in the garden located away from the pool.
Food : The breakfast was sumptuous with good variety. The Masala and Ginger teas were delicious. We were well tended to at every meal keeping our tastes and preferences in mind. You can even go in the kitchen and personally recommend your tastes to the chef. We dined at the hotel on all nights of our stay; dinner may be a little bit pricey but the portion sizes are large and the taste delicious.

This northern coastal town boasts one of the most popular beaches in Goa, so don't be surprised by the presence of crowds, as well as hawkers, souvenir stands, and cheap beach shack eateries. Crowds are at a peak around Christmas and the New Year, as well as in May, before the monsoon season kicks in. Once that arrives, expect rough seas through September.
