Hop on board the nearby C-train and take a ride to the world famous Calgary Zoo to see some of the local wildlife or visit the Prehistoric Park to see the animals that once roamed this area. Once finished there, get back on board the train to downtown and take a trip up Calgary Tower to have a 360 view from 525 feet above ground of all the beauty Calgary offers.
To the West you will find the roads leading you out to Banff and the Rocky Mountains, but on your way stop off at Canada Olympic Park for a ride down the bobsleigh track or try the zipline.

“Lots of Changes since Last Year...Good Breakfast”
Stayed Last year and hotel has made lots of improvements.....Good continental breakfast, Spa is great and Pool water is refreshing not freezing like before. 1st and 2nd floors very smoky. Room decent and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. The need to post a bigger sign that the water costs you $2.99 per bottle and is not free....If you stay longer than one nite as we did the often forget to refill toilet tissue, Kleenex, Shampoo, Coffee, and clean cups to refill those that were used. Stay on the 6th floor it is nice and quiet not really a hassle to get one of two elevators. PARKING a Problem when Comedy Club in session and Lot needs repair badly.......Overall good value for the money...

“Standard Mid-Price Hotel”
The only problem was when I extended my stay. Then the hotel had problems deciding what to charge me. (They asked me what rate I should receive ... how can I possibly answer this question? I suspect they charged me more than I should have paid.) Also three people from housekeeping and the front desk contacted me to confirm I was staying beyond my original check out date.

Forfeited two nights of prepaid rooms as this hotel, to stay somewhere else - Saggy mattresses, just not a place you'd want to stay -
“A little rundown”
The exterior of the hotel needed work. The doors were in poor condition and the paint was chipping. Frankly, it didn't make me feel safe to stay there. I felt like anyone off the street could just walk in one of the back doors. (and it's not in a great part of town) The room itself seemed ok, although the drain was clogged in the sink. I wouldn't go back.
