“Very good hotel”

Calgary Marriott is very comfortable and well maintained hotel. It is in the middle of everything best Calgary can offer.

“A Great Hotel In A Great Location”

The Calgary Marriott is a great hotel in a great location. Directly across the street from the Calgary Tower (on of Calgary's premier attractions), and only steps away from the LRT (Lite-Rail Transit); you couldn't ask for anything better. The hotel is clean and updated, and the staff are all friendly, professional and accommodating. An example of this hospitality, is when we both forgot our washroom bags; toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.. (embarassing), the Front Desk was more than happy to provide us with all new supplies at no extra charge to ensure that our hygiene was kept in check :) The rooms, or at least the one we stayed in, was clean and spacious. I'm not much of a 'pillow-conoseur' but I certainly didn't mind the giant mount of very comfortable pillows (at least 6) that were waiting for me on the bed that night. The only issue was that there was a leak of some sort in the corner of the room which was coming in from under the carpet. It was under the desk, so we weren't bothered by it, but were sure to advise the front-desk upon checkout. An onsight Starbucks makes it easy to 'get up and go' in the mornings, and the lounge is a great way to wind down the evening. In addition, the lobby is fitted with many sofas and couches which certainly helps when waiting on scheduled transportation. Overall, I was very impressed with the hotel, and it certainly lives up to it's Marriott branding. Definitely recommended if you can find this hotel for a decent price.

A group of us went up to Calgary for a long weekend and we had a fabulous stay at the Marriott. The rooms were clean and comfortable, beds were very plush. Room service was prompt and piping hot every time. The employees were all very gracious and helpful. They truly went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. I will not hesitate to book my next reservation here! This hotel is close to shopping and some great dance clubs to go out at night.

This was our first stay in a Marriott and I was very impressed on all counts. Large king room with the most comfortable mattress I have encountered in a hotel before. This particular hotel has inside access to Milestone's Restaurant and a Starbuck's. I'm converted - this is going to be my first choice hotel in Calgary from now on.

“Better than the Palliser”

This was the last night of our holiday and we were very impressed by the hotel and its staff. Friendly welcome, check in smooth with them happy to move us up to a high floor so we could see the city. Room large, clean, comfy and well maintained. Valet parking swift. Real winner was the late check out they let us have so we could explore Calgary a bit more before having to leave for the airport. Much better than the Palliser which we stayed in last time we were in Calgary (check in at the Palliser went a little like this They said: "We only have a room on the smoking floor", I had booked well in advance and stated non smoking, only jet lagged response I could muster was "No".)
