Great stay

We will be back to this hotel. The valet service was fantastic. Check in was smooth. Room service was delicious. My husband and I travelled with our two little ones and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and kind. It made travelling easy.

Great downtown location

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Close to nearby restaurants, shopping and the stampede grounds.
Location: Walking on 8th Avenue is close by, fun and full of many different dining options & shopping. The Calgary Tower is right across the street.
We travelled to Calgary specifically for the stampede in July. The Marriott hotel is conveniently located to allow close access to many nearby dining options, and is within walking distance to the stampede park.

Awesome stay !!

Stayed here during the stampede 2015. The hotels in an excellent location. Blocks from Stephen Ave where most of the fun happens. About 15 min walk to the grounds. Staff were very helpful. Beds are extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. Roomservice was quick as well. I'd stay here again!

Great hotel but no wifi or parking

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Beautiful hotel, very clean and trendy. Hotel staff was beyond amazing but there was no free wifi and no free parking, only valet was available and we had to pay for parking a couple blocks away which was suggested by them.

Very nice hotel with great amenities.

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Offer free wifi.
Location: Calgary Stampede is a 15 minute walk away.
Pool and fitness area are very nice. Rooms are very clean. Only downside is that they hotel charges extra for a lot of things (e.g. internet, parking, breakfast, etc.). Also, not sure how other rooms are, but the one I was in had a VERY loud AC unit.

Pros: Location
Cons: Check out computers were causing us confusion
Location: Brunch in Calgary tower was fabulous and worth doing.
I used a room designed for wheelchair accessibility and Peter the housekeeping manager was wonderful and checked on us regularly. He went above and beyond to make our stay so great.... Thank you Peter.
