Hotel crappy

Pros: Situated in the right area of the city we needed to be at.
Cons: Rooms could be upgraded big time. New carpets and bedding. The pillows were very very old!!
Location: Shopping and close to other immunities we were required to go to.
Frustrating that the hotel couldn't give me a copy of my visa showing no charges are on it! Staff member very rude! Made me feel inferior so that I just walked away!! Angry at myself.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Beds very comfortable and the rooms very clean. We had a major power outage in the area when we stayed and a horrible blizzard, they accommodated with hot coffee and snacks to make people comfortable and smiles on the staff. Rates very reasonable, service impeccable i would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Noisy neighbours

Cons: Cleanliness
Walls are paper thin could here our drunk neighbours tell two in the morning, bathtub filled with water when having a shower and shower head looked dirty.

LRT connection

If you are attending a concert at the Saddledome then the LRT station is a quick walk to the south. The restaurant on site was either slow or you got stuck with pub food.

Good enough for "just-a-place-to-sleep" purposes

Pros: Accessibility. Location.
Location: Nearby downtown
For the very low rate, Days Inn South, Calgary is good enough place to stay for travellers/tourists whose main purpose for a hotel is "just-a-place-to-sleep" after a very tiring day of touring the city. Adequate facility, dependable staff, and even a free breakfast for the very low price!

convenient to what I wanted to do

Pros: location handy to what I wanted to do in the city
Cons: front desk service.We waited much to long to be checked in.
parking lot is a disaster zone.Room price is too high for what it is

walls need better insulation

was there on a work trip and next door a couple was having too much fun. I was the furthest away from that wall but I could hear them way too clearly and as a result couldn't sleep. Otherwise, the entire experience was average for a hotel this size and rating.

Scary parking

Pros: Location. It was close to a place that we were going to.
Cons: Improve the breakfast. Keep up the maintenance by replacing dirty shower curtains and damaged bed coverings. Get a guard for the parking.
Location: Downtown.
Most of the available parking was in an isolated area behind the hotel. Although well lit, I was uncomfortable to leave my car there. Also the parking area had many posts supporting a second level of parking which limited the size of the stalls. The parking stalls were so small it was difficult to park even a small car. Also the shower curtain in the room was dirty and the breakfast was less than what I would expect from such a hotel. There was a cigarette burn hole on the comforter.

average Pass had trouble finding parking spot The view suck not very good when the only thing you see the roof top . That's not a view .

Cons: Breakfast needs to be looked at closely. Give a variety and flavour.
