No Elevator

Pros: Location
Cons: They need to ask people if they are going to be assigned the first floo whether they can navigate bthe stairs.
Location: Looked like plenty of restaurants on the road the hotel was on. When i drove to my meetings, it looked like upscale shopping was only a couple of KM
I was given a room on the first floor which sounded great. Unfortunately it toook to flights of stairs to get to the first floor. I have bad knees and should have asked for another room. However once I got up the stairs I said I will only have to navigate these three more times.

Clean hotel

Booked for price and the pool, the price was great for the style and size of room. The pool was not heated at all, seemed like it may have been chilled, wifes fibromyalgia prevented second use of pool. We were there for 3 days. Staff is magnificent, helpful and friendly, elevator was not always working as it should, to get it to start from some floors you needed to push on the door. Morning complimentary breakfast is worth exactly what you are charged for it.

Don't waste your money staying here!

The staff were rude, unfriendly and not helpful. It was supposedly a pet friendly hotel with not a single patch of grass within 3 blocks of the hotel. The hotel is under construction with not enough parking for hotel customers unless you want to park In the supposed "overflow parking" AKA a sketchy back alley. We will not stay here again.

South calgary hotel

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. I has to go back to the staff only door to knock to get someone to check us in. The room was a strange set up with 2 sections. One section had a small kitchen sink and one chair. It look bare and non functional. There was no access to the hotel from the back parking lot. You had to haul you luggage up the hill and through a back alley to get to the front entrance as the main paring lot was being renovated. Overall it had a musty smell.

Gross decusting hotel

This hotel rooms were very dirty and unclean. The pool and hot tub had pubic hairs in it. Overall would only stay here again only cause it's cheap

An OK stay

Pros: Very kind staff Lovely lobby
Cons: Slightly larger rooms for 4 people Redo the elevator Provide necessities for 4 people
Location: Calgary South Chinook center was very nice Many restaurants nearby
Our stay was good. We did have to complain about the noisy neighbour but that was dealt with very quickly. We did stay in an 4 person room with only 2 cups and 3 towels. Stains on the comforters was a bit sketchy too.

One Night

Cons: Breakfast is a bit of a shambles with not a great deal to choose from in the gloom of the darkened restaurant. Could use more light, more choice.
Room clean, not too noisey. Bathroom small but adequate. Facilities not utilized but seem fine.

Dirty, Disgusting, I left & went to another hotel

Pros: Frankly, I can not say that there was much to like
Cons: Cleanliness above all.
Location: Not a good area of Calgary. Probably my fault but I had never been the area before and was very mislead by the hotels pictures on the website
To start, they were working on the parking lot (which is perfectly understandable) but the location in which we had to park was very poorly lit and did not seem very safe. Upon finding a spot I noticed that there was a homeless man already occupying where I planned to park. Ok, not a great start but that's what they have locks for on the doors. Or, I thought. The door leading from the parking to the lower level was open and accessible to anyone. As I walked into the hotel there were numerous ceiling tiles missing exposing hanging wires and it smelled of old, musty, water damage. Still, this is only the lower level and I was tired so I just wanted to get to my room. The hotel staff was welcoming but not overly by any means. I got my room and turned on the light. No light bulb in that one. Of the 4 possible light, 2 were burned out and it left the room very poorly lit. As always, I pulled the sheets back to check to cleanliness of the bed. There were a number of "small curly hairs" on the bed and other items around it to clearly show it had not been cleaned (pop corn kernels, crumbs etc) When I went back to the front desk, the employee told me he needed to come verify the cleanliness. Upon review, he asked me if he could offer me a discount. I said no, how about a different room. He obliged. The "new" room was more dirty/disgusting than the first. There was some type of red stain on the sheets that I would prefer to say looked like "ketchup". Once I saw this I left. Terrible!
